Bug#801504: Libreoffice-calc 5 closed after border style selected when used in i3-wm
Hello, I know how it is, when it's working for me. I prepared short screencast, that shows how it occurs. https://imgrush.com/LK72Y6-9xXQM enjoy. I created even new user account, the same. Again, it works great in Gnome. Nothing in logs. Format->Cells->Borders works fine. I think, the problem is between i3-wm and Libreoffice. Tell me, if you need any further details. Bug#801504: Libreoffice-calc 5 closed after border style selected when used in i3-wm
retitle 801504 crashes in i3-wm when selecting border style tag 801504 + confirmed found 801504 1:5.0.2-1 thanks Hi, On Mon, Oct 12, 2015 at 10:56:15AM +0200, n n wrote: > I prepared short screencast, that shows how it occurs. > https://imgrush.com/LK72Y6-9xXQM enjoy. Ah. Fullscreen or at least an own workspace. I get the dropdown also when I have it on an own workspace (on my first attempt with Alt-Enter, lowriter in the terminal I didn't get it in the LO "on the right") And yes, I can confirm the crash. Now the question is whether it also does on unstable... (Probably yes...) Regards, Rene

Package: libreoffice-calc Version: 1:5.0.2-1~bpo8+1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, The same libreoffice used by the same user on the same machine works fine, when used in Gnome3. When used in i3-wm, after opening new spreadsheet: 1. select any cell, 2. click `border style` icon in menu, 3. from the list select any border style (solid line for example). Libreoffice will be closed immediately. Recovery will be possible after relaunch. = I've tried to report bug using bugreport but error occurs: SMTP send failure: {'debian-backpo...@lists.debian.org': (550, 'relay not permitted')}. = -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.2 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.1.0-0.bpo.2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages libreoffice-calc depends on: ii coinor-libcbc32.8.12-1 ii coinor-libcoinmp1 1.7.6+dfsg1-1 ii libboost-iostreams1.55.0 1.55.0+dfsg-3 ii libboost-system1.55.0 1.55.0+dfsg-3 ii libc6 2.19-18+deb8u1 ii libgcc1 1:4.9.2-10 ii libicu52 52.1-8+deb8u3 ii liblcms2-22.6-3+b3 ii libodfgen-0.1-1 0.1.1-2 ii libreoffice-base-core 1:5.0.2-1~bpo8+1 ii libreoffice-core 1:5.0.2-1~bpo8+1 ii librevenge-0.0-0 0.0.1-3 ii libstdc++64.9.2-10 ii libxml2 2.9.1+dfsg1-5 ii lp-solve 5.5.0.13-7+b1 ii uno-libs3 5.0.2-1~bpo8+1 ii ure 5.0.2-1~bpo8+1 ii zlib1g1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 libreoffice-calc recommends no packages. Then you probably need to fix your local SMTP agent to not send it directly but over your provider (or you configured your provider and you didn't authenticate properly).. A mail to debian-backpo...@lists.debian.org _is_ the correct receepient. This BTS is NOT for bpo bugs. Regards, Rene
