Hi,

The long description comes from upstream. This is complicated math stuff
(LP = linear problem solving), so I don't expect everyone to understand.

I have removed the brackets stuff which were in fact references to other
Python modules:
[1] http://www.gnu.org/software/glpk/glpk.html
[2] http://www.coin-or.org/
[3] http://www.cplex.com/
[4] http://www.gurobi.com/

Now, thanks for your suggestion, though if you don't come with a better
long description, it isn't very helpful. I don't believe I am able to
write one myself.

Cheers,

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Thomas Goirand

* Package name: python-pulp
  Version : 1.6.0
Upstream Author : Stuart Anthony Mitchell

  Programming Lang: Python
  Description : an LP modeler

PuLP is an LP modeler written in python. PuLP can generate MPS or LP files
and call GLPK[1], COIN CLP/CBC[2], CPLEX[3], and GUROBI[4] to solve linear
 problems.

This is a dependency needed for Congress, which is OpenStack policy as a
Service.
