Bug#802591: [Pkg-openssl-devel] Bug#802591: Please provide libssl udeb as well as the libcrypto udeb

Any update on this bug? I'm quite interested in seeing debian-installer
https preseeding support in stretch, and this bug is the first step
towards that.

NEW seems to get processed fairly quickly these days. If the planned
other changes that would have required a trip through NEW have not yet
been prepared and uploaded, please consider going ahead and uploading
this change.

Since this will also need to go thru NEW, it think it makes most
sense to have this as part of the other packages that changes
names, but I'm waiting for the release team on when that goes to
unstable.

So I'm wondering how urgent this is. If I upload it to unstable
now it might make it to testing faster. I have no idea how long
the transition is going to take once it's uploaded to unstable.

I guess I can figure out how to do this in experimental myself.

A colleague of mine has done all this work already; moreover, I
thought it had all been submitted to Debian.

Are you missing any piece of support? I could look into forwarding that.

As promised, here's the patch, applied to the version in unstable. Let me
know if you want it applied to the version in experimental instead.
