Bug#811475: apt-offline: won't work with deb copy: -lines
Package: apt-offline Version: 1.5 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, Could you consider that apt-offline skips deb copy: -lines in /etc/apt/source.list files? Those are like deb file: and are for copy debs from local computer and so useless for that purpose. Now those files go in the signature file generated on a machine. -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.2 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fi_FI.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages apt-offline depends on: ii apt1.0.9.8.1 ii less 458-3 ii libpython2.7-stdlib [python-argparse] 2.7.9-2 ii python 2.7.9-1 Versions of packages apt-offline recommends: ii python-magic 1:5.22+15-2 ii python-soappy 0.12.22-1 apt-offline suggests no packages. -- no debconf information

It only supports repository types http and ftp. If you have your debs available locally, then why do you need apt- offline in the first place ? > Those are like > deb file: and are for copy debs from local computer and so > useless for that purpose.
