Some API breaking changes were introduced from in version 3.3.0 and current rdeps of nfft will require appropriate patching. The following bugs have been filed with severity important: * pynfft: #812997 * yorick-ynfft: #812995 Let me know if further action is required on my end. I intend to fix pynfft, since I am the personal maintainer and upstream author of the package. Are there patches for yorick-ynfft, or what's the plan for that? Cheers, Emilio I did try to implement a fix for yorick-nfft based on my knowledge of the API changes in nfft, but its test suite still fails for some reason. I won't have time to investigate further, so it would be up to the maintainer of yorick-nfft to finish the job. I believe he is also the upstream developer. Regarding pynfft, I am currently working on a different implementation using cffi instead of Cython and could end-up dropping support of the package both upstream and downstream altogether, once the new implementation is out. I am happy to provide a patch for the current pynfft package present in the archive if that can help. Ghis
