Bug#817128: lintian: automatically find the .changes/.dsc/.deb files based on debian/{control,changelog}
* Paul Wise, 2016-03-08, 20:31: Have you tried running lintian without arguments? (See the "CHECKING LAST BUILD" section in the manual page for details.) Huh, I could have sworn I tried that already. When was it added? In Lintian 2.5.9 (released in June 2012). -- Jakub Wilk

Hi Paul! * Paul Wise, 2016-03-08, 18:07: It would be nice if lintian could automatically find the relevant .changes/.dsc/.deb files based on debian/{control,changelog}. This would make it easier to run lintian from a just-built source tree. Have you tried running lintian without arguments? Package: lintian Severity: wishlist It would be nice if lintian could automatically find the relevant .changes/.dsc/.deb files based on debian/{control,changelog}. This would make it easier to run lintian from a just-built source tree. I wonder if this functionality should be a part of dpkg-dev, since dpkg-buildpackage seems to know the names of the right files, and then lintian should just make use of it via libdpkg-perl? -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part
