It is not just a minor annoyance: the flooding log messages are simultaneously written to /var/log/messages, /var/log/syslog and /var/log/user.log, not only thrashing the hard drive and slowing down the system, but also quickly growing to hundreds and thousands of megabytes in size, easily filling up a smaller hard drive within a short period of time. And it is not just going to affect a handful of users. I suppose that is why Fedora uploaded a fix within 32 hours of receiving the initial bug report. So, is a fix forthcoming, soon? If not, I am more than happy to make a NMU today. Many thanks, Anthony
