Package: autotrace Version: 0.31.1-16+nmu1.2 When I tested the latest FontForge (2016apr3) using ./bootstrap, I ran into the problem where aclocal ran into an error with AM_PATH_AUTOTRACE
This problem appears for automake > version 1.7 and can be fixed by adding [] around AUTOTRACE, on line 7 of file autotrace.m4. There is already a patch submitted upstream in 2005-05-22 as: https://sourceforge.net/p/autotrace/patches/4/ another example can be viewed on homebrew: https://github.com/Homebrew/patches/blob/master/autotrace/patch-autotrace.m4.diff A similar explanation can be read in windowmaker: http://lists.windowmaker.org/dev/msg00053.html I recommend applying the patch, since this bug cannot be fixed from within FontForge.
