Bug#824862: tex-common: Installations fails (on mipsel) due to fmtutil failure.

2016-05-20 Thread Bas Couwenberg
Package: tex-common
Version: 6.05
Severity: serious
Justification: makes the package in question unusable or mostly so
Control: block 823335 by -1

Dear Maintainer,

With the changes for #824260 texlive-bin is now built for mipsel, but
installation fails preventing vtk6 from being rebuilt for the gdal
transition (#823335).

The build log reports:

 Processing triggers for tex-common (6.05) ...
Running updmap-sys. This may take some time... done.
 Running mktexlsr /var/lib/texmf ... done.
 Building format(s) --all.
This may take some time...
fmtutil failed. Output has been stored in
 /tmp/fmtutil.Pa941Utq
Please include this file if you report a bug.

Unfortunately the fmtutil files in /tmp are not readable when using the
porterbox chroots so I cannot provide them.

Please refer to the buildd logs for the full logfiles:

https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=vtk6=mipsel=6.2.0%2Bdfsg1-11.1%2Bb2=1463747054

Do you have any suggestions how I can help troubleshoot this issue on
the porterbox?

Kind Regards,

Bas
