I am currently packaging the newest upstream version because it seems to
have major fixes, including a fix for this or at least more informative
logging.

Once I got it building correctly (the upstream build system changed,
gnaaah ☹…) and uploaded, please make another test with the new version.

In order to reproduce this, could you please provide information like

 * What DE/kind of session is used
 * What client(s) is/are used
 * Any information about the network between clients and server, like 
NAT/proxy/etc.

Also, is the session terminated, or can the user re-attach?

Note: Since the issue happens on a backport I have not choosen a RC
