Thanks for the quick fix, much appreciated! Given that it's already in
unstable, I assume that it will go in j-bp as well soon, right? If so,
any ETA for this? Something like ~ four weeks?

absolutely! The codepath for list and automatic mode was missing the
composite command execution for systemd. The upstream fix will be part
of needrestart 2.10.
