Package: certbot
Version: 0.9.3-1
Severity: wishlist
Dear Maintainer,
In /etc/cron.d/certbot perl is the only place used. It could be solved with
just shell evaluation and sleep. A more simple script.
-0 */12 * * * root test -x /usr/bin/certbot -a \! -d /run/systemd/system &&
perl -e 'sleep int(rand(3600))' && certbot -q renew
+0 */12 * * * root test -x /usr/bin/certbot -a \! -d /run/systemd/system &&
/bin/sleep $((RANDOM\%3600)) && certbot -q renew
