looking into
https://github.com/matteocorti/check_lm_sensors/pull/11/commits and
https://github.com/matteocorti/check_lm_sensors/pull/11/files doesn't
look, like this is just a fix for the particular issue but several other
changes that are not needed to fix the origin issue.

When we have a patch related to just this issue, we can look into it.

Cheers, Jan.

Thanks for applying these patches, Dean.

Have you officially taken over the project? I read the original
developer could not continue to maintain it.

Dear mantainer, could you please apply these patches in the version we
currently have in Stretch?

Kind regards,
Daniel

Upstream seems to have reverted to the 3.1 branch.
This version works fine on stretch with Monitoring::Plugin.

Importing the current master version into the Debian package seems to be
the best course of action.

Bug#849111: nagios-plugins-contrib: Sensors gone with check_lm_sensors 4.1.1

2016-12-22 Thread bs.net
Package: nagios-plugins-contrib
Version: 17.20161211

The package nagios-plugins-contrib version 17.20161211 ships check_lm_sensors
version 4.1.1.
With this version of check_lm_sensors all my sensors are gone.

$ /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_lm_sensors --list

With the old version all sensors are accessable.

It seems that this is a detection bug in check_lm_sensors version 4.1.1.
Furthermore check_lm_sensors seems to be unmaintained.
