Package: git
Version: 1:2.11.0-2
Severity: important

When running

  $ git am --signoff $MAILDIR

git will frequently not even attempt to apply some of the patches in the
Maildir. I can't see any obvious pattern in the messages being ignored,
but it does seem to happen with excessive regularity making the program
very error prone and cumbersome to use. I can supply a Maildir
(reportbug doesn't seem to have any attachment support).
