I don't believe tooltip or not is something which would have to do with the graphics driver, but anyway: In your initial post you write: --- VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller]) --- % lspci | grep -i gra 00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06) same for me. And as said, it works here. Regards, Rene

That bug does not occur on another computer with identical software but other graphics hardware: VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GT218 [GeForce 210] (rev a2). Thus the bug might be related to the corresponding Intel graphics driver.

reassign 855805 libreoffice-kde found 855805 1:5.3.0-1 tag 855805 + moreinfo tag 855805 + unreproducible thanks Hi, On Tue, Feb 21, 2017 at 10:02:32PM +0100, Thomas Florek wrote: > > And which UI? gtk? gtk3? kde? > > KDE Version 5.8.5 > KDE Frameworks 5.28.0 > Qt 5.7.1 (compiled against 5.7.1) > > Tested against galaxy, breeze, sifr. Ok, so it looks KDE-specific since it works in my gtk3-environment. That said, even with installing libreoffice-kde and export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP="kde4" to force KDE UI I *do* get tooltips (just tried the toolbar buttons)... Regards, Rene

No offense, but siduction installs (almost) only packages from genuine Debian repos and the kernel is in no way exotic ;) Greetings, Tom

And which UI? gtk? gtk3? kde? (These days About also shows this.) Given you use -breeze I _assume_ kde, but... (KDE is the least tested thing. And it even is actually designed for KDE4...) > Kernel: Linux 4.10.0-towo.1-siduction-amd64 Can you please stop filing non-Debian bugs in Debian. You use siduction, not Debian.
