Given hunspell already migrated to testing, this is not blocking anything, so there's no rush to get it finished. Thus there's no need to remove firefox-esr (plus any rdeps). This should just sort itself out in due time. Cheers, Emilio

It does not yet build though, because it depends on an unavailable version of libsqlite (so we'll possibly need to transition that when it happens, to unblock this one). Or we could do removals, but that feels a bit ew. -- Jonathan Wiltshire j...@debian.org Debian Developer http://people.debian.org/~jmw 4096R: 0xD3524C51 / 0A55 B7C5 1223 3942 86EC 74C3 5394 479D D352 4C51

Hi, FTR: >From 2017-05-29: 12:31 < _rene_> pochu: yeah, I know there's no release yet but I already plan what to do (when) after release and wonder whether I already could get a ACK for hunspell so the LO 5.3.4 upload (to be released the week after the release) can directly be built against it and not need a bin-NMU.. ;) 12:33 < _rene_> pochu: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=862189. everything builds. 12:33 -zwiebelbot:#debian-release- Debian#862189: transition: hunspell - https://bugs.debian.org/862189 12:39 < pochu> ack 12:40 < _rene_> k, thanks :) So uploaded now. firefox was 54 Build-Depend'ing on it in unstable anyway. As of https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleasePlan/5.3#5.3.4_release said LO will be released Thursday. Will upload that one then to save the bin-NMU. Regards, Rene

Bug#862189: transition: hunspell
Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian@packages.debian.org Usertags: transition Hi, Simply a "new" upstream. Ben file: title = "hunspell"; is_affected = .depends ~ "libhunspell-1.4-0" | .depends ~ "libhunspell-1.6-0"; is_good = .depends ~ "libhunspell-1.6-0"; is_bad = .depends ~ "libhunspell-1.4-0"; (there's already a auto-hunspell tracker.) Note newer firefoxes (as in experimental) already seem to need >= 1.6... Of the packages using hunspell, only lokalize failed (again, no surprise on how they do the detection), filed #862163.
