I'm wondering if you could make another upload before Buster release with new upstream version or make another upload without new upstream release to deal with existing bugs since xclip hasn't seen any upload for 4 years. Package: xclip Version: 0.12+svn84-4 Severity: wishlist Upstream moved to github and published a new version: https://github.com/astrand/xclip/releases/tag/0.13 "This release features several new features and bugfixes done over the last 6 years. See ChangeLog for details." I looks like the only Debian patch can be dropped then.
