Bug#878135: Debian mirror mirror.hmc.edu: out of date, ftpsync version
Hi, Peter, The disk had filled up, thus stopping any syncs from completing. I did some cleanup, and upgraded to the latest ftpsync (closing my own ticket!), and I think we're back up and running again. I also switched to include architectures instead of excluding them. Thanks for filing this bug—I had been planning on working on cleaning up the mirror that morning anyway, so having your bug was an additional motivator. ;-) Claire -- Claire Connelly c...@math.hmc.edu System Administrator (909) 621-8754 Department of Mathematics Harvey Mudd College Send problem reports or requests to requ...@math.hmc.edu. Package: mirrors User: mirr...@packages.debian.org Usertags: mirror-problem may-auto-close Control: submitter -1 mirr...@debian.org Hi, I was checking some things in the Debian mirror universe and noticed a problem with your mirror: It seems your mirror has not successfully finished a mirror run this month yet. Status: https://mirror-master.debian.org/status/mirror-info/mirror.hmc.edu.html Also, o The tracefile http://mirror.hmc.edu/debian/project/trace/mirror.hmc.edu suggests that the ftpsync version you are using is very old. Please upgrade. Using a modern ftpsync ensures updates are done in the correct order so apt clients don't get confused. In particular, it processes translations, contents, and more files that have been added to the archive in recent years in the correct stage. It also should produce trace files that contain more information that is useful for us. http://ftp.debian.org/debian/project/ftpsync/ftpsync-current.tar.gz Aloha, Peter -- | .''`. ** Debian ** Peter Palfrader | : :' : The universal https://www.palfrader.org/ | `. `' Operating System | `-https://www.debian.org/
