nestopia is fixed in
https://salsa.debian.org/games-team/nestopia/commits/master but the
package maintainer hasn't uploaded the fix yet to Debian.

Still an issue with version "3.30.0-1"

Looks like "*.libretro" key/value files are missing in the installation 
path "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libretro"


When i add files like found here manually (e.g. nestopia.libretro) it 
starts to work:

https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-games/tree/master/flatpak/libretro-cores

libretro-gtk depends on those files (see file: retro-module-iterator.c 
function:retro_module_iterator_iterate_next_in_current_path)
