Interesting observation: When the panel catches up and does something, it seems to still be stuck somewhere back in time: It froze at 21:52, when I noticed, my wall clock showed 22:12. At 22:17, the panel clock jumped to 21:59, some task switching requests got handled and my sound volume exploded (because some 5-6 minutes back, I used the volume up key).
