Package: dict-jargon Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
There is three source packages in Debian, that contain Jargon File * `dict-jargon' (v4.4.7) * `jargon-text' (v4.4.7) -- orphaned * `jargon' (v4.0.0) -- out-of-date, as written in description Hereby I propose to combine functionality of those packages in single source package, probably yours `dict-jargon', as most actively maintained. It would mean to * copy Makefile from `jargon-text' to generate HTML and plain text formats * apply patch for `jargon-text' to additionally generate fortunes file. * invent a way to convert source xml into GNU Info format, to supersede `jargon' package. After that we could RM src:jargon-text and src:jargon. If you agree, I volonteer to prepare patch.
