Bug#914930: dbus-python: FTBCFS in python3-defaults transition

Yes, this bug report was bad. Both in failing to describe what I meant and that the "bug" is in the ben file for this transition. (I think something like "affects depends python3 << 3.7" needs to be added). I followed up on #debian-release, the binNMU scheduled and the autopkgtest passes now. What does the acronym FTBCFS mean? I know about FTBFS (fails to build from source), and I know about FTCBFS (fails to cross-build from source), but I don't know what FTBCFS is. Fails to build in CI from source? Fails to build completely from source? If you're filing similar bugs on other packages it would be helpful to expand the acronym or choose a non-acronym term for what you mean. (I know you've closed this particular bug as a false positive.) smcv
Bug#914930: dbus-python: FTBCFS in python3-defaults transition
Source: dbus-python Version: 1.2.8-2 Severity: serious User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertags: needs-update Control: affects -1 src:python3-defaults [X-Debbugs-CC: debian...@lists.debian.org, python3-defau...@packages.debian.org] Dear maintainers, After a binNMU [1] of dbus-python in the python3-defaults transition (from python3.6 to python3.7 as default python3) your package is uninstallable because of the following dependencies: Depends: dbus, python3-dbus, python3 (<< 3.7), python3 (>= 3.6~), python3.7, python3.7:any, python3:any (>= 3.3.2-2~), python3.6, python3.6:any, libc6 (>= 2.4), libdbus-1-3 (>= 1.9.14), libpython3.6 (>= 3.6.5), libpython3.7 (>= 3.7.0~b3) python3 is now at version 3.7.1-2. Something apparently went wrong during the build. Can you investigate?
