* What led up to the situation?
I have noted an anormal increasing of my root filesystem, in particular between
sleep and resume.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I updated caja-dropbox via apt dist-upgrade.
The /var/lib/dropbox was enormous. I onwered why.
* What was the outcome of this action?
ls /var/lib/drombox -a showed all the Drombox versions installed since .30 to
.65. dropboxd runs the latest one. VERSION rfrs to the
latest.
Result: the partition has more than 600MB useless due to older releases of
installations of Dropbox.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
With only the latest release, you have 600%B more. I could undertand we keep
release-1 (minus 1), but not all the releases. All the more as
to remove the older releases of the Drombox instance, I need to rm the hidden
folders manually. Altrnatively, could not the dropboxd
script provide a command to clean the .dropbox-dist directory?
