OK then, as you wish, I'll close this ITS, even though they seem to be releasing a new version soon. Yes, upstream has developed since your ITS. I am not addressing upstream with this. What's keeping you from handing in a new package version? The idea of an ITS is that you send one after three weeks. This is now open for more than three years.

Awesome! I'll see if I can't do some testing and send a format-patch. I may have some time this weekend š Yeah that'd be awesome! paultag On Mon, Jul 8, 2019, 12:53 PM Mathias Gumz wrote: > Hey, > > > How do we feel about a new release? Hey, > How do we feel about a new release? I am on vacation in early August, I aim to finalize the release there. If $someone wants to give a hand - every bit is welcome. Hey akira, How do we feel about a new release? If we tag a new one we can do the whole upload thing. Hope you're well! paultag On Mon, Jul 8, 2019, 12:06 AM Tong Sun wrote: > On Sun, Jul 7, 2019 at 11:49 PM Tong Sun wrote: > > > Debian 10 "buster" was just released, so I'll be packaging it soon. > > . . . > > FTR, I'll be packing from the latest git since it is quit stable. . . > > Opened a support request at > https://sourceforge.net/p/fluxbox/support-requests/7/ > asking for a new release. > >

Debian 10 "buster" was just released, so I'll be packaging it soon. On Sat, Apr 20, 2019 at 10:57 AM Tong Sun wrote: > I'll try packing it first, and we'll deal with the upload situation > when we get there. FTR, I'll be packing from the latest git since it is quit stable. Here is the irc conversation: [09:06] how stable the fluxbox git code is now? [09:07] Seems to me it's been stable for quite a while. [10:44] sfxpt: stable. [17:04] thanks @ak|ra [17:06] Iām attempting to build an official Debian package for fluxbox, [17:06] so in this case, I'd pack from the latest git instead of over-4-year old 1.3.7. [17:07] would there be any concern for that? -- no further responses for two or three days.

Thanks Paul, for the fast response, as always. > I say just add yourself and go ahead! I'm not a DD yet, only a DM. Anyway, I'll try packing it first, and we'll deal with the upload situation when we get there. As an uploader - I'm happy to just mark you as an uploader without all this paperwork. I say just add yourself and go ahead!
