It would be nice if you could upload it to experimental at some point. Thanks. Indeed I'm aware of it; for the record, what's currently happening here is that I'm doing some work with the Fedora maintainer which we'd chatted about a few months ago to converge our GSSAPI key exchange patches, and once that's done I plan to upload 8.0 to experimental including the converged version. (The patch in question required considerable work to rebase on top of 8.0, so something had to be done here in any case, and fortunately the Fedora maintainer had sorted that out; maintaining a converged version will make it easier for both distributions from here on in, and hopefully for others who want the same feature.) -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org]

Package: openssh Severity: wishlist Hi Colin, thanks so much for the awesome job you're doing in maintaining openssh in debian! I guess you're aware of the 8.0 release, in any event here's a bug for it. It would be nice if you could upload it to experimental at some point. Regards, Daniel
