Package: chrony Version: 3.0-4+deb9u2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? Installing Raspian via NOOBS, updating to latest packages. Install gpsd, chrony. Configure chrony. Try to start chrony using "systemctl start chrony" * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? Tried to get rid of systemd-tty-ask-password-agent. But this did not help in any way. * What was the outcome of this action? chronyd is started. "systemctl start chrony" waits until it times out on waiting for "/bin/systemd-tty-ask-password-agent --watch" to finish. chronyd is shut down by systemctl. * What outcome did you expect instead? chronyd started by "systemctl start chrony". -- System Information: Distributor ID: Raspbian Description: Raspbian GNU/Linux 9.9 (stretch) Release: 9.9 Codename: stretch Architecture: armv7l Kernel: Linux 4.19.42-v7+ (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages chrony depends on: ii adduser 3.115 ii init-system-helpers 1.48 ii iproute2 4.9.0-1+deb9u1 ii libc6 2.24-11+deb9u4 ii libcap2 1:2.25-1 ii libedit2 3.1-20160903-3 ii libseccomp2 2.3.1-2.1+deb9u1 ii libtomcrypt0 1.17-9 ii lsb-base 9.20161125+rpi1 ii ucf 3.0036 ii util-linux 2.29.2-1+deb9u1 chrony recommends no packages. chrony suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
