Bug#940859: [debian-mysql] Bug#940859: mariadb-server-10.3: keeps crashing a few seconds after start
Thank you for your quick reply. The first crash happened surprisingly at a restart. The messages gave no details whatsoever, only “segfault”. Changing configuration setting made no difference. After a while, the crashes started to happen a few minutes or even hours after a restart so that I was able to dump most databases. The crashes kept happening unpredictably. Reinstallation made no difference, even if all database and configuration files were removed. I then purged all Maria DB packages (and Kopano) and tested the harddisks and filesystems. No errors were found. I reinstalled the Maria DB server, re-created the users and databases and restored the databases from the dumps. No further crashes have happened. Thanks again. - Axel signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Your bug report if void of any relevant information. We cannot do anything about this unless you make a bit more effort in debugging this yourself first, submitting some more info about what logs say, what error messages you see, what your setup is like etc. Ideally you would send a list of steps we can take to reproduce the problem, so we can see it ourselves, debug it locally and verify if any potential fix solved it or not. Thank you! - Otto
