Dear Maintainer, I have the emacs-el package installed on my system, which shows up in the *Packages* list as "debian-el". When I run the Emacs command `package- autoremove', it wants to remove this package. When this command fails to remove a package, it stops, leaving any remaining packages to be uninstalled, installed. So I see two problems here: 1) The debian-el package is being considered autoremovable, even though it is listed as "external", and 2) The command `package-autoremove' will not carry on removing packages if one of the remove operations fails.
