Ahhh, hmmm, I guess I need to preach for the backport gods next time
more seriously. I've scripted my updates and its usually bumping also
debcompat to 12. I've tried to revert this for NeuroDebian related
packages but this time I failed.

Sorry about this, Andreas.

Yes, thank you Andreas! If you could also keep it at debcompat 10, all
backport gods would favor you ;)

Bug#945348: python3-joblib: Missing new dependency python3-pkg-resources

2019-11-23 Thread Andreas Tille
Package: python3-joblib
Version: 0.14.0-0.2
Severity: critical
Tags: patch
Justification: breaks unrelated software

Hi,

as per latest debci log of spades[1] joblib needs python3--pkg-resources.

I will add this to the dependencies but I will also take over joblib
packaging to Debian Science team to make the package watched by a
greater audience. I've got confirmation from Yaroslav for similar
cases in the past so I assume its OK.

Kind regards

   Andreas.
