Yeah, I also asked for a new upstream release and once that was done I
uploaded it. It's been sitting in NEW now for some days. :)

(Hmm I thought there was a bot marking ITPs sitting in NEW as pending.)

Hi!

New qemu (5.0) will be able to work with liburing.

How things are on the packaging-it front?
I even packaged it by my own already, but later
remembered to take a look at wnpp and found your
work here.

The above pull request with license clarification
has been accepted.

Thanks!

The packaging is ready, but there were some issues that needed fixed
upstream. The blocking one is about getting the licensing situation
clarified:

Once that's solved, I'll upload.

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Guillem Jover

* Package name: liburing
  Version : 0.4
  Upstream Author : Jens Axboe
* URL : https://git.kernel.dk/cgit/liburing/
* License : LGPL and MIT/X
  Programming Lang: C
  Description : Linux kernel io_uring access library

 liburing provides helpers to setup and teardown io_uring instances,
 and also a simplified interface for applications that don't need (or
 want) to deal with the full kernel side implementation.

The liburing library is supposed so supercede the libaio library which
I maintain too, so it makes sense to handle both. :)

Thanks,
Guillem
