I couldn't reproduce a crash by adding new files to playlist or playing 
them.

It seems like you have several library packages coming from an 
non-official repository (probably deb-multimedia). This can lead to many 
crashes and unknown behaviors.


Please retry to run clementine with only clean and up to date Debian 
dependencies. If after that you still have constant crashes feel free to 
reopen this issue.

Thé bug was acknowledged and fixed upstream. So you are a bit late and in the 
meantime I started to build from git to get the fix.

IUf I have an existing playlist and want to hear sometng different, adding a new
album for exemple, if I try to start the just added albulm it crash. and one 
started
I cannot play it at all. Meaning Ican retry 10 times it carshes 10 times.

Usually playing someting in the exiting list does work.

NB: please update the git to upstream as there has been a flury of development
in the past weeks.
