Bug#956064: crosshurd: please honor configured apt archive during autopkgtest
Hello, Paul Gevers, le lun. 06 avril 2020 22:18:02 +0200, a ecrit: > Please honor the apt archive which runs the test instead of hardcoding > the archive. Mmm, it's not very simple, because crosshurd uses debian-ports as well. I guess your local mirror may have it, but we can't blindly assume that the apt archive which runs the test does have it (very few archives do). Possibly we'd have to probe whether it does, and if not, fallback to deb.debian.org. Samuel
Bug#956064: crosshurd: please honor configured apt archive during autopkgtest
Source: crosshurd Version: 1.7.56 Severity: normal User: debian...@lists.debian.org Usertag: needs-internet Dear maintainer(s), Your package has an autopkgtest, great. However, due to a timeout on one of our arm64 workers in China, I noticed that you hardcode the url to use for downloading your packages. This is an issue on those workers as the deb.debian.org infrastructure doesn't work well. Instead, we use locally supported archives. Please honor the apt archive which runs the test instead of hardcoding the archive. For background info: we are designing a needs-internet restriction to document tests that need unrestricted internet access during testing. In the current state your autopkgtest would qualify, but if all you need is access to an Debian archive, you wouldn't need that restriction if you honor the configured apt archive.
