I've CCed you because you're the maintainer of this package and wonder
if you might not have received emails about this bug.  If you're too
busy to take care of this longstanding new version bug, would you please
consider reaching out to the team to find a new maintainer, and/or
filing and RFA or Orphaning bug?  As it stands, gerbera meets the
criteria for salvaging, so there's that too.  An RFA or O bug (or RFH
bug) will make it easier for prospective DMs to find a package they can
contribute to :-)
