That's a nice idea indeed!

I tried implementing this, and modifying the tests in a way that made sense
to me.
Could you please have a look at this, and let me know if this is OK?

Kind regards

I've fixed this one but the test has changed and seems to require a
running X server. Either this can be changed via command line options
or by using xvfb-run to provide some X server.

Kind regards

Bug#961399: seaview: autopkgtest regression: gzip: *.gz: No such file or directory

2020-05-24 Thread Paul Gevers
Source: seaview
Version: 1:5.0.2-1
X-Debbugs-CC: debian...@lists.debian.org
Severity: serious
User: debian...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: regression

Dear maintainer(s),

With a recent upload of seaview the autopkgtest of seaview fails in
testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of seaview
from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In
tabular form:

   passfail
seaviewfrom testing1:5.0.2-1
all others from testingfrom testing

I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report.

Currently this regression is blocking the migration to testing [1]. Can
you please investigate the situation and fix it?
