In the docs it's listed for Agent 2: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation/5.0/manual/config/templates_out_of_the_box/zabbix_agent2 So I guess it's needed? > > zabbix_get [2294402]: Check access restrictions in Zabbix agent > > configuration > > Agent will only respond to requests from hosts listed in "Server=". > Yeah, I found it out now that it was using IPv6 even though only 127.0.0.1 was allowed: # zabbix_get -s 127.0.0.1 -k redis.ping ZBX_NOTSUPPORTED: Unsupported item key.

Whoops. So I didn't read the docs fully. But now I get a different error: zabbix_get [2294402]: Check access restrictions in Zabbix agent configuration Well this isn't a support channel, so I'll try to find it out myself, what's now wrong. Thanks again for your answer.

Package: zabbix-agent Version: 1:5.0.5+dfsg-1~bpo10+1 Severity: wishlist Hello, it looks like Zabbix is compiled without the redis plugin. >From /usr/share/doc/zabbix-frontend-php/templates/db/redis/README.md.gz Test availability: `zabbix_get -s redis-master -k redis.ping` # `zabbix_get -s redis-master -k redis.ping` zabbix_get [2264555]: Get value error: cannot resolve [redis-master] And the template indeed doestn't work.
