Bug#977919: vm: Mail quoting no longer works in emacs27
Package: vm Version: 8.2.0b-6 Severity: serious As per the previous bug report emacs27 and vm are having some issues. Another wart is that mail replies no longer work. Hitting 'F' for a quoted reply inserts the full email including headers _unquoted_ and _unindented_ with an error message Symbol's value as variable is void: mail-yank-hooks As replying to mail is part of the core functionality, this renders the package very much incomplete so severity has been set to 'serious'. Thanks for looking into this. Dirk -- https://dirk.eddelbuettel.com | @eddelbuettel | e...@debian.org
