Package: facter Version: 3.14.12-1+b2 Severity: normal Hello,
The "facter" package currently does not ship the .gemspec file that gets generated during build. This means that facter is not visible as an installed system-wide gem. The impact of this is that other packages that depend on the "facter" gem, will require a hack in order to remove facter from the gemspec dependencies. Also, gems installed manually may end up installing a second copy of facter on the system. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.9.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=en_CA.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_CA.utf8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages facter depends on: ii libboost-program-options1.74.0 1.74.0-5 ii libc6 2.31-6 ii libfacter3.14.12 3.14.12-1+b2 ii libgcc-s1 10.2.1-3 ii libleatherman1.12.1 1.12.1+dfsg-1.1 ii libstdc++6 10.2.1-3 ii ruby 1:2.7+2 facter recommends no packages. facter suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
