[James Valleroy] > Yes, it was useless to ship in buster. While I can not vouch for php-klogger, I do know as a Debian user that I often are pleasently surprised to find libraries I need for software packages not currently in Debian. Such library might lack reverse dependencies in the Debian archive, but still provide value to the users that need it. :) This make it very hard to verify if a package is truly useless to ship in a stable release. :) -- Vennlig hilsen Petter Reinholdtsen

A PHP developer could use the package though. But I think they are more likely to use composer to download/install what they need. I opened bugs like this for all the dependencies of shaarli, after discussion in #980134. Do you agree with this approach in general? You may have noticed (or may do so tomorrow ;)) that I already removed all those packages. I refrained from this one because it's shipped with buster. Do you really think it's useless for users there without shaarli? Is it enough useless to not ship it?
