Bug#989546: gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-panel: Panel disappears after screen unlock with fullscreen content

2021-09-11 Thread Mitchell
Hi Jonathan,

Many thanks for updating the package.

Unfortunately version 43 is incompatible with Gnome 3.38 for bullseye. (See bug
993887.)

Would you consider merging the patch to a previous version?

Thanks!

Mitchell

Bug#989546: gnome-shell-extension-dash-to-panel: Panel disappears after screen unlock with fullscreen content

Dear maintainer,

There is a bug with the extension that causes the panel to disappear every time
after the screen is unlocked with fullscreen content. This can be easily
reproduced with a web browser playing videos in fullscreen mode, getting screen
locked, then unlocked. This bug is particularly annoying for working from home
with remote desktop connections where the screensaver timeout would make the
panel disappear, so if you could merge the fix that would be great!

Proposed working patch:
https://github.com/home-sweet-gnome/dash-to-panel/pull/1347/files

If you could take a look that would be great!

Thanks!
Mitchell
