might be an alternative which adds many nice features (e.g. syntax
highlighting, actually checking the file type).

I've filed RFP #1043249, should it get packaged, than maybe lesspipe
could suggest/recommend it as an alternative.

I've made a number of improvements, but it seems you have disabled
merge requests on salsa?

a1f7c55 support rpm2cpio as a fallback when rpm isn’t available
fa602f5 which has been deprecated, use command -v instead
c0b3964 prefer unrar over rar
