Package: metar Version: 20190227.1-1+b1 Severity: minor Dear Maintainer,
When reading metar(1) manual, I came up with: | OPTIONS | metar requires at least one station identifier to run. A | full list of ICAO stations is available for download at | http://weather.noaa.gov/data/nsd_bbsss.txt. So out of curiosity, I wanted to lookup the file in question, but the weather.noaa.gov address seems to not be registered any more: $ host weather.noaa.gov Host weather.noaa.gov not found: 3(NXDOMAIN) I could locate information about my nearest station at the following url, so I'm tempted to suppose this is the new location of the file: https://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/nsd_bbsss.txt Have a nice day, :) Étienne. -- System Information: Debian Release: bookworm/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.14.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/12 CPU threads) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE not set Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages metar depends on: ii libc6 2.32-4 ii libcurl4 7.74.0-1.3+b1 metar recommends no packages. metar suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- Étienne Mollier <emoll...@emlwks999.eu> Fingerprint: 8f91 b227 c7d6 f2b1 948c 8236 793c f67e 8f0d 11da Sent from /dev/pts/7, please excuse my verbosity.
