2014-10-30 Thread Christian PERRIER
Quoting Christian PERRIER (bubu...@debian.org):

Hmmm, it's obviously a remaining of the churro days. I'll switch to
ftp.de.debian.org or maybe one of the various ways to get the best
mirror from the local place that exist.

 Added to my TODO list.

OK, you apparently did...:-)

Bug#731859: debootstrap: variant=fakechroot fails

2014-10-30 Thread Eric Keller
Hi josch,

I am currently encountering the same problem with version: debootstrap
1.0.40~ubuntu0.7 using wheezy instead of sid and without using fakeroot
fakechroot, but directly using sudo.

the strange thing is that this exact same error comes when debootstrap is
called from a script. But calling the same debootstrap command in a
terminal finishes without any error.

did you realize further investigation on this bug?

Best Regards

Bug#766708: Request to override gcc maintainer changes breaking unsupported way of cross-building

All of which can be compiled trivially with Build-Depends /
 Build-Using: linux-source, gcc-4.x-source, glibc-source.

FSVO trivially. In other words: This may work nicely on Ubuntu, but you
may have missed that we're talking about Debian atm. No, it doesn't
build on Debian (yet, but it is being worked on).

[ Long parapgraph about how cross toolchains are supposed to work ]

I do not disagree with the long term goal. I merely argue that it has
not yet been achieved and that we should keep some legacy until then.
This is why I asked a ruling to not apply beyond jessie.

The proposed multiarched builds, are only good for one time
out of the archive bootstraps, but in no way are supportable in the
 archive.

Thanks for making my point: These multiarched builds are currently
useful for doing architecture bootstraps. That's what I used them for.

Bug#767320: openssh-server: doesn't start at boot

2014-10-30 Thread V Spagnolo
Package: openssh-server
Version: 1:6.7p1-2

Hi,
I discovered that my laptop daily backups to my home Backuppc server
haven't been running since Oct 1, when I installed the latest Jessie
upgrades. Logs showed that Backuppc couldn't connect
to the laptop because sshd wasn't running. Restarting by
etc/init.d/ssh restart or systemctl start sshd.service start
sshd.service work and my backups run.

It seems that I've been using 3 different versions of openssh-server
during this time.

I read #757822 - openssh-server: systemd start-limit reached after

to me.

Anything else I should report?

Bug#767321: how-can-i-help: Permission denied when using as user

2014-10-30 Thread Julien Viard de Galbert
Package: how-can-i-help
Version: 9
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

how-can-i-help is normally run through apt with sudo but creates some
cache files in my home dir. Later running how-can-i-help as user
resulted in an error:
| $ how-can-i-help
| ==  How can you help?  (doc: https://wiki.debian.org/how-can-i-help )
==
|
| - Show old opportunities as well as new ones: how-can-i-help --old -

| from /usr/bin/how-can-i-help:292:in `open'
| from /usr/bin/how-can-i-help:292:in `main'

how-can-i-help --old works (and is more useful in that case) but the
first idea is just to type how-can-i-help :)

Changing ownerchip of files just work, but is seams strange to have to
do that since the .cache/ directory contains other files that seams
related to apt but are not owned by root (apt-file/ or axi-cache.state).

Hope this can help us helping debian :)

Best regards

Bug#767322: java-gnome: FTBFS for ppc64el

2014-10-30 Thread Brahadambal Srinivasan

Severity: normal
Tags: patch
X-Debbugs-Cc: bren...@br.ibm.com
User: debian-powe...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: ppc64el

Dear Maintainer,

On ppc64el architecture, the java-gnome package FTBFS as the
-client option is not enabled.

The ppc64el version for openJDK does not implement '-client'
option, only '-server' is available (which is the default).

The patch checks for the architecture and removes the '-client'
option for ppc64le arch, allowing the package to build correctly.

Thanks for considering the patch!

Thanks and regards,
Brahadambal

Bug#767201: virtualbox: After update to 4.3.18-dfsg-1 guests doesn't start *with VNC extension enabled*

I got the same problem, I saw that virtualbox now comes with a VNC
extension enabled. Disabling it allowed me to access back my VM. So a
workaround is to disable this VNC extension.

I tried with 2 VMs, a windows one and a debian (jessie) one.

Bug#767324: Error running timer `font-latex-jit-lock-force-redisplay'

2014-10-30 Thread Antti-Juhani Kaijanaho
Package: auctex
Version: 11.87-2
Severity: normal

[I tried to send this two days ago but it has mysteriously vanished. Trying
again without the large attachment. The test file is downloadable at
http://antti-juhani.kaijanaho.fi/kaijanaho-lic.tex
]

After a recent upgrade of both auctex and emacs24, I've started to get random

  Error running timer `font-latex-jit-lock-force-redisplay':
  (wrong-number-of-arguments (2 . 2) 3)

notices when I work with large TeX files. For example, just opening the
test file will trigger the notice.

Unfortunately, I was not able to isolate a small test file, nor a simple large
one. I suspect it really requires a large file with lots of different stuff.

Bug#766334: BrowseAllow all gets into cups-browsed.conf by default resulting in no remote printers

2014-10-30 Thread Didier 'OdyX' Raboud
Hi Michal, and thanks for your bugreport,

I think I understand the problem you're having, let's see.

Le mercredi, 22 octobre 2014, 13.12:51 Michal Hocko a écrit :

 Of course I had
 BrowseAllow all

present and that caused all remote printers being disallowed by
 default.

Are you saying that all BrowseAllow stanzas _but_ BrowseAllow all
should have been taken over by cups-browsed?

Maybe postinstall script can ask whether such an option should be
added if those options cannot be ignored by default.

We try to avoid doing explicit prompts unless really _really_ important,
we're not in such a case here…

Till: What would you think of the above proposal? It kinda-makes sense
for me: in CUPS 1.5 meaning, BrowseAllow all meant accept packets
from anywhere, but in cups-browsed meaning, this is completely
discarded, and the same meaning is achieved without any 'BrowseAllow'
stanza. I'd welcome your input there.

Cheers,
OdyX

Bug#759348: cups-browsed: May hang for 30 seconds when restarted

2014-10-30 Thread Didier 'OdyX' Raboud
Hi Brian, and thanks for your (as always) detailed and extensive
bugreport.

Le mardi, 26 août 2014, 16.46:33 Brian Potkin a écrit :
On an up-to-date unstable version 1.0.55-1 of cups-browsed was
installed. The journalctl records are shown for three commands.
All three commands completed successfully immediately.

cups-browsed was updated to the present version. One noticable
difference is that the third command hangs. Resisting the temptation
to do CTL-C, it eventually completes.

I can't reproduce this since CUPS 1.7.5-7, where CUPS' socket activation
got disabled. I suspect having CUPS constantly running avoids entering
this 30 seconds hang in restart, which I think points to CUPS time-to-
die.

If you can confirm that this behaviour disappeared, I suggest to leave
the bug open but to retitle it to something like cups-browsed may hang
during restart if CUPS is socket-triggered.

Cheers,
OdyX

The reason is that the new libvirt-daemon-system version Depends of
  policykit-1,
which depends of libpam-systemd which Depends of systemd which is blocked
  on my
  system.

Since it's declared, that systemd is not mandatory in Debian, the package
  must
be installable (or what I did wrong?).

It's declared that you don't need systemd as init system
(systemd-sysv), depending on systemd itself is fine - you should
adjust your blocks accordingly (it's like asking not to depend on
dnsmasq since you don't like it, it's perfectly valid as a wishlist
 bug, but that's about it).

I'm closing this since this since it's just another dependency, please
 reopen if you think otherwise.

Another point here: polkit in wheezy doesn't depend on systemd but the
jessie version does. So looking if we can make polkit's dependency on
systemd optional - or offer a polkit compatible replacement in the
long run would make the hard indirect dependency on systemd.

I've also checked that (forcibly) removing polkit makes
libvirt-daemon-system still work for uid 0. So we can run without
polkit even with enabled polkit support.

Cheers,

The user-agent-utils Java library can be used to parse HTTP requests in
real-time or to analyze log files and gather information about the
user-agent. It doesn't try to identify hundreds of different clients and
operating systems but instead offers a compromise between performance
and usability.

The buggy version isn't in testing.

Please unblock package hhsuite

Bug #765066 was set to severity normal but it is actually serious.
(severity fixed some minutes ago). While it was fixed in SVN for some
time (13 Oct 2014) together with some other updates which were valid at
this time but spoiling the attached debdiff (things like refreshing
patches and `cme fix dpkg-control` are creating some noise in the diff,
sorry) due to some communication problems it was uploaded to late for a
direct migration to testing. It would be great if you could set the
migration period to 5 days despite the noisy diff which was not really
intended to be inspected manually at the time when it was created.

(include/attach the debdiff against the package in testing)
attached.

Thanks for your work for the Debian release

 Andreas.

Bug#767330: gedit: Highlight mode selection not working via toolbar (vs statusbar)

2014-10-30 Thread Nico Rikken
Package: gedit
Version: 3.14.0-2
Severity: normal
Tags: upstream

Dear Maintainer,

I pasted scilab code into a new gedit window, creating Unsaved Document 1. The
highlighting wasn't automatically detected (desired behavior I assume) so I
wanted proper Scilab highighting activated. I selected from the top
menu-button: View Highlight Mode... Searching and selection was working in
the pop-up, but after choosing 'Select' (top-right) nothing changed. The
statusbar (bottom) still indicated plain-text and so was the Hightlight Mode
menu when revisited via the menu-bar. Selection via the statusbar indicator did
however turn out to work fine. Having selected Scilab highlighting in this way,
the menu via the top menu-botton now showed Scilab as selected as well. Trying
to revert highlighting to Plain text (as a test) from the top-menu failed, but
it did from the statusbar.

Bug#766937: apparmor-profiles: Patch - abstraction profile for desktop themes and images

Hi,

parspes wrote (30 Oct 2014 00:46:38 GMT) :

It would be useful to provide at least one specific example.

I agree that it should be added to some other abstractions
if needed. The idea occurred to me that the code should have been in
the Freedesktop.org abstraction, or perhaps just a generic desktop
 abstraction.

Makes sense. Care to submit a patch upstream about it?

Best would be to submit a Launchpad pull request against
http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~apparmor-dev/apparmor/master/ but sending
a patch (against current Bazaar) to appar...@lists.ubuntu.com would
work too.

Bug#764630: jexec still not working (follow up #731961 ?)

For some reason I can not run dicomscope from a fresh jessie setup
(amd64). It seems that 731961 is back (or never really fixed).

Steps:

Not working as should:

$ dicomscope
starting DICOMscope

What works:

$ jexec /usr/bin/dicomscope

$ hexdump -c -n 4 /usr/bin/dicomscope

Bug#767331: get-iplayer: shows pseudo-programme “BBC iPlayer Feeds” at index 1 because of wrong usage of BBC API

2014-10-30 Thread Axel Stammler
Package: get-iplayer
Version: 2.82-2+deb7u1

Dear Maintainer,

The description of this pseudo-programme reads “BBC iPlayer feeds are no longer
available.
Nitro is the BBC's new programme metadata API. You can find out more about
this here: a
href=http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/tv/feeds;BBC iPlayer Feeds/a”,
which
includes details on the BBC's reasoning behind the change and links for
developers.

The version being tested in Unstable seems not to be different from the one in
Stable as
the issue is not even mentioned in the change log or Get I Player's homepage,
http://www.infradead.org/get_iplayer/html/get_iplayer.html.

Get I Player is an excellent programme, and I would like to thank you for
making it
available in Debian and for maintaining it.

Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

Hi,

We used to build -dbg packages everywhere, but in some architectures we
build webkitgtk without -g (due to resource limits) so the -dbg packages
are useless there. We have thus disabled those packages in those
architectures, so please remove the outdated binaries:

libjavascriptcoregtk-1.0-0-dbg libjavascriptcoregtk-3.0-0-dbg
libwebkit2gtk-3.0-25-dbg libwebkitgtk-1.0-0-dbg libwebkitgtk-3.0-0-dbg

from armhf kfreebsd-i386 mips mipsel s390x.

 Hi everyone,

this bug is quite a pain, and there is a patch available for it at
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11212

I have prepared an NMU to fix this problem using the patch from this
bug report, and I am planning to upload to DELAYED queue soon,
as I think we *really* should get this into jessie.

Thanks for the report. It'd help to have some Xfce people looking at
this a bit more (I'm unsure we'll have time to have it committed before
including it).

I attach the debdiff of the NMU

Thanks but that doesn't really help, I can pick the patch just fine from
the upstream bug.

Bug#695004: [pkg-squid-devel] bug 695004 - 3.1.20-2: Restart after success external_acl (squid_ldap_group)

We will need a backtrace from the crash to do anything about this bug
 report.
 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=695004

For what its worth there were a number of unhandled exceptions in older
versions which resulted in this type of mysterious crash. In the 3.3+
versions those were converted into unhandled exception errors with a
more useful log message, and the identified exceptions were fixed in 3.4.

So I expect this particular behavior will not be seen again, there will
likely be a different report with more useful details if the bug causing
it is still present. Perhapse we can close the bug?

Let’s tag it moreinfo and see if it’s reproducible.

Regards,

L

Bug#764630: missing JNI path in jarwrapper

2014-10-30 Thread Mathieu Malaterre
reassign 764630 jarwrapper 0.47
retitle 764630 missing JNI multi-arch PATHs in jarwrapper
thanks

Currently jarwrapper is used as backend for binfmts (not sure why this
is not jexec). Anyway the script is incomplete, now that we have
multi-arch JNI location:

[...]
$ tail /usr/bin/jarwrapper
if [ -z $JAVA ]; then
   JAVA=java
fi

if which $JAVA /dev/null 21; then
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/jni
exec $JAVA $JAVAOPTS -Djava.library.path=/usr/lib/jni -jar $JAR $@
else
echo In order to run Java programs you must install a compatible JRE.
If you don't know what JRE you need, default-jre is probably a good
bet
fi
[...]

Please update `LD_LIBRARY_PATH` accordingly.

Yeah, that would be nice, but I think if it does not happen,
then we can still include it.
Releasing the current state is just not acceptable.

Yeah, that would be nice, but I think if it does not happen,
then we can still include it.
Releasing the current state is just not acceptable.

I'll push an upload. I don't think it'll reach testing before the
freeze, but we can always ask for an unblock later (and having more
testing doesn't hurt anyway).

Thanks but that doesn't really help, I can pick the patch just fine from

I didn't know that you are watching the bugzilkla bug, since nobody
answered on the respective Debian bug, so I thought it was one of

Yeah, sometimes we just don't have much time to investigate bugs, but

Maybe postinstall script can ask whether such an option should be
added if those options cannot be ignored by default.

We try to avoid doing explicit prompts unless really _really_ important,
 we're not in such a case here…

Till: What would you think of the above proposal? It kinda-makes sense
for me: in CUPS 1.5 meaning, BrowseAllow all meant accept packets
from anywhere, but in cups-browsed meaning, this is completely
discarded, and the same meaning is achieved without any 'BrowseAllow'
stanza. I'd welcome your input there.

The Browse... directive implementation was done by Tim Waugh as part
of the legacy CUPS broadcasting/browsing support. I do not know the
exact details, especially not of combinations of various lines. I only
know that all clients are allowed if no line is given.

Tim, can you help here? Thanks,

Bug#767173: gnome-shell: Display freezes but mouse stays operational

2014-10-30 Thread Michael Franzl

Ok, I've found out more and now can reproduce the bug reliably every time.

How to reproduce this bug:

1. reboot computer
2. start Root Terminal
3. type `gedit` in this root terminal to start it (I guess any other
program will do to, but I haven't tested it)

4. click on Activities OR move mouse into the upper left magic corner

The display freeze happens exactly at the time of clicking the mouse or
arriving at the upper left corner.

Killing applications from another TTY will NOT remove their windows from
TTY7.

/var/log/syslog will now be flooded with the following messages over and
over (I have thousands of them in /var/log/syslog):

Oct 30 10:45:36 michael-debian gnome-session[1961]: (gnome-shell:2069):
dconf-CRITICAL **: unable to create file '/run/user/1000/dconf/user':
Permission denied. dconf will not work properly.

Viewing `top` I saw that gnome-settings-daemon every time had a CPU
load of 100%. CPU fan noise goes up due to high CPU load.

These bug reports seem to be related:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=956306

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=732209

Marcus, I also experienced the display freeze when right-clicking on the
Desktop, but I could recover from these freezes by pressing Alt+F2 and
exiting the popup window again. The bug I'm describing here is
definitely NOT the issue you are mentioning, because with this type of
freeze I'm reporting, Alt+F2 doesn't react, and also the keyboard is
frozen. It should be a separate bug report.

Bug#757228: adoption

2014-10-30 Thread Olivier Berger
Hi.

lasse lasse_wu...@freenet.de writes:

 Hi,
I am very interested in adopting this package.

Great :-)

Can you tell me more about it and what work I have to do maintaining it?

I guess the work depends very much about how the package may evolve
upstream, and whether there are actual users reporting issues ;-)

This isn't specific to this package, but in this case, there doesn't
seem to be much use, nor so much activity upstream for now.

So I guess this should be quite easy for now.

Tha said, I guess you may review the current packaging, and/or upstream
sources, and suggest improvements.

Have you had a look at https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/libgraphite-php ?

There, you should find much of the pointers to other things you should
investigate.

In particular, you'll find the pointer to the Git repo I've used so far.

I guess that's probably enough for now.

Tell me if I've forgotten anything.

The way the log rotation integrates with external log management tools

So the logs have been changed successfully by logrotated. But the squid
binary is asserting at some point in the followup process.

The assertion seems to be caused by memory management for some globals
allocated for the ICAP services.

Bug#767291: blitz++: FTBFS on mips

2014-10-30 Thread Dejan Latinovic

Hello,

Maybe it is possible to blacklist blitz++ on cavium machines,
and try to build it on broadcom board (ball, swarm).

I had tested it locally.
On cavium board,
build fail with TERM signal.
If tests are ran manually, all tests pass,
but requires a lot of time.

Actually, the array test is the one that
causes this failure.
All other tests executes significantly faster.
(1-10 min).

Duration of array test execution on cavium board is:
304m40.451s.

On broadcom board,
package builds successfully.
Duration of array test execution on broadcom board is:
12m50.570s.

I'll do this.

Bug#767341: New xsession startup breaks enable-ssh-support

2014-10-30 Thread Christoph Egger
Package: gnupg2
Version: 2.1.0~beta895-2
Severity: normal

Hi!

The way the new xsession file works, the SSH_AGENT environment
variables are no longer exported from gpg-agent. As a result, ssh
can'tcontact gpg-agent and ssh-agent is started by its own (it runs
after gpg-agent's xsession thing and checks for the environment
variables)

Bug#767342: jemalloc: Allocator profiling capabilities should be enabled

2014-10-30 Thread Giuseppe Lavagetto
Source: jemalloc
Severity: wishlist
Tags: patch

Jemalloc comes with a handful of very useful allocator
profiling/diagnostic capabilities, that will be extremely useful when
trying to debug some memory leak in a running production application. In
order to do this, it is needed that jemalloc is built with the
--enable-prof configure switch. Note that the profiling capabilities are
disabled by default, so that enabling this does not cause any practical
performance overhead. Users may decide to enable it by using the
MALLOC_CONF variable or the /etc/malloc.conf config file.

I don't think there is any good reason not to enable this by default in
debian. The patch I include will accomplish just that.

Cheers,

Giuseppe

 I had tested it locally.
 On cavium board,
 build fail with TERM signal.
If tests are ran manually, all tests pass,

Actually, the array test is the one that
 causes this failure.
All other tests executes significantly faster.

Duration of array test execution on cavium board is:

 On broadcom board,

Bug#767343: libvirt-daemon shoud recommend libvirt-daemon-system

2014-10-30 Thread bugs
Package: libvirt-daemon
Version: 1.2.9-3
Severity: minor

Hi,

I haven't had any VM on system in use for quite some time. However after trying
to start up virt-manager I got notification that libvirt-daemon is not running.
After some digging I found out that even though the LSB init script is
available, the systemd however-it's-called file isn't. Quick search revealed
existence of libvirt-daemon-system. There might have been some transition but
that managed to miss me.

So from my PoV it'd make sense for libvirt-daemon to at least recommend
libvirt-daemon-system.

Hi,

https://packages.qa.debian.org/libr/libreoffice.html says:

There were override disparities found in suite unstable:
libreoffice-l10n-ku: Override says localization - optional, .deb says oldlibs -

libreoffice-presentation-minimizer: Override says misc - optional, .deb says

Both are transitional packages (wheezy-jessie) (see [0])

following message (at startup, and repeatedly when selecting one of the
invisible entries):

Package: evince
Version: 3.14.1-1

evince crash when loading a tiff file and a user click on the
magnifying glass (I was trying to zoom on the image).

Steps:

$ convert -depth 8 -size 512x512 xc:white white.tiff
$ xdg-open white.tiff
- should start evince, if not use `evince white.tiff` directly
- click the magnifying glass icon
** (evince:15136): ERROR **: Find action should be insensitive since

I think it would be better to report the error in a message box
instead of closing the application completely.

I don't see how you justify this as grave. Doesn't it work without the
3D acceleration ?
And besides, I believe 3D acceleration is still marked experimental
upstream.

 - Dozens of Nouveau-related errors are logged to the kernel log:

This looks more like a kernel bug. Have you ensure that you used the

Bug#767349: ITP: ruby-symboltable -- symbols-only hash for Ruby

2014-10-30 Thread Thomas Goirand
Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist
Owner: Thomas Goirand z...@debian.org

* Package name: ruby-symboltable
  Version : 1.0.2
Upstream Author : Michael Jackson mjijack...@gmail.com
* URL : http://mjijackson.github.com/symboltable
* License : Expat
  Programming Lang: Ruby
Description : symbols-only hash for Ruby

SymbolTable is a handy little Ruby class that was conceived from the union of
Hash and Symbol. SymbolTable directly extends Hash, but it stores all keys
internally as symbols. Any key that cannot be converted to a Symbol is not
 valid.
 .
While this may seem restrictive, it does have the nice side effect of making
all keys slightly more memorable and usable. For example, values may be set
and retrieved using any key that resolves to the same symbol.

Note: Just like ruby-raemon, this is a dependency of Fuel which I am
currently packaging. Fuel is a tool to deploy OpenStack.

In any case no new uploads will be done to unstable during freeze except for
RC bugs, so this has to be revisited later.

This is a major regression. Many users may be affected.

That's exactly what I was trying to evaluate :)

It's rather difficult to say about users. One can already look at
software using XML files that may be affected by the bug. I've done a
quick search on 'ENTITY.*SYSTEM' on the few sources that are present
on my machine (this concerns only some software I needed to build or
look at). I suppose that gdm documentation is affected: gdm/docs/C
has:

* index.docbook which contains:

!DOCTYPE article PUBLIC -//OASIS//DTD DocBook XML V4.1.2//EN
http://www.oasis-open.org/docbook/xml/4.1.2/docbookx.dtd; [
!ENTITY legal SYSTEM legal.xml
!ENTITY version 2.26.0
!ENTITY date02/10/2009
!ENTITY mdash   #8212;
!ENTITY percnt  #x0025;
]

* legal.xml which contains:

  legalnotice id=legalnotice

so that I suppose that the bug would appear on it. The consequences
depend on what is done with this, but using the buggy libxml2 version
would make this DocBook file appear as invalid. Ideally validation
should really be done at build time and/or with make check, so that
if everything is done correctly, you can consider this like a build
failure.

Hi,

Keyboard shortcuts don't work in multi-language mode and it is quite
inconvenient to use Qt5-based applications in Debian now. For example,
Qt Creator.

Bug report in upstream:
https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-32274

This problem was fixed in 5.4 branch of qtbase git repo:
https://qt.gitorious.org/qt/qtbase/commit/2b666d9

Is it possible to apply this fix in Qt5 packages before Jessy release?

Best regards,

Bug#767354: hplip-gui: hp-sendfax dialog never gets past step 3

2014-10-30 Thread Dominique Brazziel
Package: hplip-gui
Version: 3.14.6-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

The 'hp-sendfax' dialog, whether started from the command line
or through the device manager, never progresses past first screen
which asks which files to add. The 'Next' (as well as 'Back', Move
Up/Down and Remove) buttons are all grayed out. This causes the
jobs to be sent without a recipient name or fax number, which I assume
those are filled in during Steps 4 and 5.

Also, the files which have been selected do not appear in the
window after selection.

Attached are a log of 'hp-sendfax -ldebug', which shows it enter
the GUI loop. Also attached is the output of 'hp-check'.

I have got hp zbook 14 with has Intel IGP + Radeon GPU. In pursue of enabling
access to the display ports on the docking station installed 3.17 kernel and
fresh intel driver. With

xrandr --setprovideroffloadsink radeon Intel
xrandr --setprovideroutputsource radeon Intel

made those display ports visible but they showed just gray, and when I switched
one of them back to onboard display port, the other one on docking station
started to show some garbled image (just colored stripes/dots). Then when I
turned it off (in gnome3 display settings), the entire X crashed.

I have by now rebooted few times but every time Xorg just segfaults upon boot,
so some stale settings bring it into the mysery and I can't even use it

Bug#767357: elasticsearch: Move the jar to a libelasticsearch-java package

2014-10-30 Thread Emmanuel Bourg
Package: elasticsearch
Severity: wishlist
Version: 1.0.3+dfsg-4

The Maven artifact is bundled in the elasticsearch package, it would be
preferable to package it separately in a libelasticsearch-java package
such that elasticsearch plugins can be built without installing the server.
