Bug#432909: nut: New Upstream Release Available

2007-07-12 Thread Claire Connelly
Package: nut
Version: 2.0.5-3+b1
Severity: wishlist

Version 2.2.0 of nut was released on July 5, 2007. It includes
various enhancements and bugfixes, including integration with HAL,
support for IPv6, and improved documentation.

It would be great to get this version packaged for Debian.

Thanks!

Bug#327149: ftp.debian.org: Remove thoughttracker

2005-09-07 Thread Claire Connelly

Package: ftp.debian.org
Version: any
Severity: normal

The thoughttracker package should be removed from the archive.

The upstream developer graduated from university and promptly
vanished from the 'Net; extensive searches have failed to turn up
a current address for him. Even before he graduated, he had
ceased development on the application.

I also believe there are a number of much better, maintained
alternatives in the archive.

I have been unable to upload a newer (Debian) version that
incorporates the NMU fixes. Not sure why, but it contributes to
my lack of enthusiasm for continuing to maintain the package.

Thanks,

   Claire

the ones we're mirroring are the most likely to be used on campus right now.

The mirror is meant primarily for use by all the Claremont Colleges, but is
also available to the public.

If you can set $MIRRORNAME to mirror.hmc.edu (by default now it uses
the machine fqdn i.e. worblehat.math.hmc.edu), that would be perfect.

Done.

Bug#878135: Debian mirror mirror.hmc.edu: out of date, ftpsync version

2017-10-11 Thread Claire Connelly

Hi, Peter,

The disk had filled up, thus stopping any syncs from completing.

I did some cleanup, and upgraded to the latest ftpsync (closing my own
ticket!), and I think we're back up and running again. I also switched
to include architectures instead of excluding them.

Thanks for filing this bug—I had been planning on working on cleaning
up the mirror that morning anyway, so having your bug was an additional
motivator. ;-)
