Bug#435532: Missing libpetsc
Looks like it's hit the archives now - want me to make an upload? Also you can usually make the upload before the buildds have done the building, and it tends to work. If it doesn't you can always request a rebuild for a specific arch. Alan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

And i still have interest. I think be better/nice the template file be fixed by QA, and the QA ask for an update if necessary, avoiding errors. Then i can check debian scripts. After that, i will try to find a sponsor to upload the package. Can be you if you want. Only 'myphpmoney/installed' would come back, i guess. 'myphpmoney/webservers' could be left commented. Bug#435656: Change in behaviour of gzreadline() caused debmirror to delete my whole mirror
Package: libcompress-zlib-perl Version: 2.005-1 Severity: serious --- Please enter the report below this line. --- After the upgrade to version 2.005-1 debmirror decided to delete my whole debian mirror. And as i didn't pay attention during debmirror updates this is really annoying. The corresponding debmirror code is here: 851 my $gunzf = gzopen($file, rb) or die $file: $!; 852 my $line; 853 my $res; 854 my $loop = 1; 855 while ($loop) { 856 my $buf = ; 857 while(($res = $gunzf-gzreadline($line) 0) 858 !($line =~ /^$/)) { 859 $buf = $buf . $line; 860 } 861 if ($res = 0) { # THIS IS ALWAYS TRUE AFTER THE UPGRADE 862 $loop = 0; 863 next; 864 } I debuged it with print statements and found out the the above marked if statement is alwasy true after the upgrade and thats why the code further down the while statement is never reached. I'm not sure if this is actually a problem in debmirror or in libcompress-zlib-perl, but as it worked before the upgrade it seems naturally to report the bug here. Downgrading the packet fixed my problem. Bug#424799: myphpmoney: affected by php4-removal
I thought about that. I sent a ITA on february and talked to faw by email few times. And i still have interest. I think be better/nice the template file be fixed by QA, and the QA ask for an update if necessary, avoiding errors. Then i can check debian scripts. After that, i will try to find a sponsor to upload the package. Can be you if you want. Well, I think you should adopt the package *now*. The last upload fixed the templates (but broke the package...:-)) so it's now time to adopt it , imho. About sponsoring, I have not enough expertise in PHP stuff so I wouldn't be a good sponsor because I couldn't really check your changes. Better find another sponsor...could be better if that could be a Brazilian one, which would make the communication easier, of course. signature.asc Description: Digital signature

Bug#435663: debmirror: Fix and an enhacement
Package: debmirror Version: 20070123 Followup-For: Bug #435663 -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 I installed latest debmirror on a sarge server (trying to fix what I reported on my other bug report). After fixing the other error I found debmirror not downloading any .deb/src/etc file so I made some modifications to it's code and ta-da. After that debmirror was downloading all the files but in the post-cleanup it was deleting all of them. I found that by some reason apt-ftparchive was following some symlinks I created on my local repository (the one debmirror is mirroring in the final server) so the Release files contain info like 'stable' instead of 'etch'. Even tough this is not a bug on debmirror, it should better try to resolve every path name which might be a symlink. The attachment is the patch for the two problems mentioned in this report and the one of my other report (#435574). Bug#435751: wcalc: incorrect license information in debian/copyright and wcalc.1
On Friday, August 3 at 02:23 AM, quoth Vincent Lefevre: The debian/copyright file from the package says: This program is free software; you can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. This is correct. but the COPYRIGHT file from upstream says: All code in the Wcalc distribution which is Copyright Kyle Wheeler or which references this COPYRIGHT file is licensed under the GPL version 2 included below. The full text of the License is in the file titled COPYING as distributed with the source, or is available here: http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html Also out of date, and also corrected in current CVS. So, Wcalc seems to be distributed under GPLv2, not GPLv2+ as debian/copyright says. True, the last distribution was thus. It's distribution rules have been updated. Moreover, wcalc.1 says: COPYRIGHT wcalc is Copyright (C) 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 Kyle Wheeler. It is freely distributed, and can be modified and used freely for any purpose, as long as a copy of the modification is sent to Kyle Wheeler at [EMAIL PROTECTED] AFAIK, the as long as a copy of the modification... is incompatible with the GPL (all versions). Ooops! That's... really outdated. It's fixed in CVS. The next release (which should happen relatively soon-ish) will contain the changes necessary to allow wcalc to be licensed under newer versions of the GPL in addition to v2. ~Kyle -- Holding on to anger, resentment and hurt only gives you tense muscles, a headache and a sore jaw from clenching your teeth.
