Bug#532736: CVE-2009-1391: Buffer overflow in Compress::Raw::Zlib

2009-06-11 Thread Stefan Fritsch
Package: perl
Version: 5.10.0-19
Severity: grave
Tags: security
Justification: user security hole

A security vulnverability was found in Compress::Raw::Zlib:

Compress::Raw::Zlib versions before 2.017 contain a buffer overflow in
inflate(). A badly formed zlib-stream can trigger this buffer overflow and cause
the perl process at least to hang or to crash.

This causes a remote DoS in amavisd-new.

The perl package in lenny and sid contains Compress::Raw::Zlib 2.008.
There is also a separate package libcompress-raw-zlib-perl

Hi,

The CGI script of the web frontend is installed setuid to the backuppc user.
This means that any local user of the system can run the CGI script as the
backuppc user. The CGI script simply reads the REMOTE_USER environment
variable to check permissions which can be faked by the invoking user. The
CGI also seems to treat the absense of the REMOTE_USER variable as allowing
full access!

As an example on a default install that backs up /etc (the 'localhost' host)
the following command will reveal the password hashes for the web interface
(stored in /etc/backuppc/htpasswd and which should be readable only by the
backuppc user):

/usr/share/backuppc/cgi-bin/index.cgi action=RestoreFile host=localhost num=0
share=/etc dir=/backuppc/htpasswd

Note that if backuppc is used to fully backup other machines as root (the
recommended configuration) then it is possible using this method to read files
such as the backed up /etc/shadow !!

Thanks,

Steve

Package: mdadm
Version: 2.6.8-12-gb47dff6-2
Severity: important
Tags: patch

After recent upgrade, mdadm stopped working for me. The modules did not
load and thus array was not assembled. Manual inspection revealed, that when
modprobe is called as:

  modprobe -kq md

from /etc/init.d/mdadm-raid, it complains about unrecognized option -k and
does nothing.

People who have root on md device are not affected, because the script used
in initramfs does not specify that option. Attached patch removes -k option
from all invocations of modprobe I found in the package. The one in
mdadm-raid was the one that hit me.

Since there was no upgrade of mdadm, but there was upgrade of
module-init-tools, I am CC'ing it's maintainer. I leave it up to you to
consider whether modprobe should silently ignore -k for compatibility with
legacy scripts.

Because I use etckeeper, I can tell you the packages I upgraded between last
successful and today's unsuccessful boot:

Dear NSD users and maintainers,

We have released version 3.2.2. of NSD. This is *critical* bugfix
release. One of the bugs is a one-byte buffer overflow that allows a
carefully crafted exploit to take down your name-server. It is highly
unlikely that the one-byte-off issue can lead to other (system) exploits.

The bug affects all version of NSD 2.0.0 to 3.2.1. Whether the bug can
be exploited to depends on various aspects of the OS and is therefore
distribution and compiler dependent.

For more information:
http://www.nlnetlabs.nl/publications/NSD_vulnerability_announcement.html

We strongly recommend you to update your systems to the latest version.
If you have reasons for not running the latest version of NSD, we
strongly advise you to at least apply the patch that resolves the
critical bug.

The source and patches are available at our website:

Note that NSD 2.X is feature frozen and security patches may not be made
available in future events.

We acknowledge and thank Ilja von Sprundel of IOActive for finding and
reporting this bug.

RELNOTES:

BUG FIXES:
- - Off-by-one buffer overflow fix while processing the QUESTION section.
- - Return BADVERS when NSD does not implement the VERSION level of the
 request, instead of 0x1FORMERR.
- - Bugfix #234.
- - Bugfix #235.
- - Reset 'error occurred' after notifying an error occurred at the $TTL
 or $ORIGIN directive (Otherwise, the whole zone is skipped because the
 error is reset after reading the SOA).
- - Minor bugfixes.

 mdadm-udeb - tool to administer Linux MD arrays (software RAID) (udeb)

Changes:
 mdadm (2.6.7.2-2) stable-proposed-updates; urgency=low
 .
   * Fix start/stop runlevels in header of mdadm monitor init.d script
 (closes: #514923)
   * Do not set -eu in the bugscript to maximise information output in the case
 of errors.
   * Make initramfs script depend on multipath to ensure its script is run
 before ours (closes: #516605).
   * Provide an alternative (postfix) for mail-transport-agent (closes:
 #522300). I chose postfix because that's the only one I could recommend,
 and since the alternative does not affect people who already have an MTA
 installed, or have a preference, it won't affect them.
   * Honour debconf pre-selection of mdadm/initrdstart (closes: #516802).
   * Make checkarray skip over arrays still marked auto-read-only
 (closes: #510641).
   * No longer pass -k to modprobe, which has been deprecated for a long time;
 thanks to Jan Hudec (closes: #51).
   * Remove Mario Joußen from the uploaders list, since his email started
 bouncing.

X does not start, upon trying it states:
 Fatal server error:
Cannot run in framebuffer mode. Please specify BusIDs for all ramebuffer
devices

see also this thread on debian-sparc mailing list, seems to describe a related
problem:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-sparc/2009/04/msg00018.html

In my case the box in question is a Sparc with it's native grafics card, in the
case mentioned above the grafics card is a Creator 3D, making this a
not hardware specific problem.

X (using the sunffb driver) used to work fine on this machine
(an Ultrasparc10 with Creator3D graphics, although note that
it also has an unused ATI card installed) under Etch.

At some point during/after the Lenny upgrade,
the driver now seems to be failing to start.
(I'm not too sure exactly when it happened as
I normally just ssh into the box.)

After opening the Online Banking Setup option the software crashes. Kmymoney
allows me to complete the online banking wizard.
Somehow managed to setup the actual accounts by removing the .aqbanking folder
opening the wizard, restoring the settings file
and then using the Actions-Online Actions-Get Transactions causes a
segfault as well.

The 7.2-1 kernel package for kfreebsd-i386 is currently in NEW.

!!! Do not install it !!!

I would just say important as it prevents only 32-bit binaries to work,
64-bit binaries works for me for weeks ...

This prevents almost all biarch packages to be built, including glibc, gcc,
gcj, gdc, etc. I had to downgrade the kernel on the build daemons to
version 7.1 to get those packages built.

It prevents all 32-bit binaries to work, on kfreebsd-i386 it means whole
system. So, it is really grave.

I am fine with removing the check for now (or maybe removing
BI_BRAND_NOTE from sys/amd64/linux32/linux32_sysvec.c), I was more
speaking about a more long term solution that may be merged upstream,
like checking the OS field correctly.

I have a slightly hackish patch with the check of the OS field.
After test on kfreebsd-i386 I will put in our SVN.

Petr

Bug#532740: libdkim0d: Should use strtok_r() not strtok() for thread safety

2009-06-11 Thread Russell Coker
Package: libdkim0d
Version: 1:1.0.19-3
Severity: grave
Tags: security
Justification: user security hole

The following patch makes libdkim use strtok_r() instead of strtok() for thread
safety.

If a server process has multiple threads operating on behalf of different users
while verifying dkim data (IE receiving mail for multiple users) then data may
be leaked. Also this may cause a server process to crash and there is a
possibility of it being an exploitable bug.

I don't think that the security concerns are great enough to make a secret
report for a coordinated release, but I do think that they are great enough
to justify a grave bug report.

Bug#532734: [kdebase-workspace-bin] Plasma refuses to start

2009-06-11 Thread George Kiagiadakis
severity 532734 important
forcemerge 532734 532735

Hi,
This crash seems to be due to the recent update of python-qt4. You probably
have some python plasmoids on your desktop. As a temporary workaround, backup
your plasma configuration and let it start with a clean one, which has no
python plasmoids on it.

To backup:
mkdir ~/plasma-backup
mv ~/.kde/share/config/plasma* ~/plasma-backup/

I am lowering the severity, because this affects only people that use python
plasmoids.

Regards,
George

And how is it happens that they are missing? Is that a bug in one of
these packages? (I do not care about python that much. It should just

Ok, reinstalling python-imaging was enought. So pkpgcounter works now.

But where is the bug located that this compiling was not done before? I
think if that is an issue rendering all or many python scripts unusable
that this is a big bug.

Bug#532480: Installation does not give errors but qtiplot does not start

2009-06-11 Thread Gudjon I. Gudjonsson
Hi Marco
I am working on qtiplot version 0.9.7.7 but there are some problems and it
is going slowly to get it into Debian. There is an unofficial package on my
server:
deb-src http://195.198.146.229/debian/ source/
deb http://195.198.146.229/debian/ i386/
but I think this version only works on unstable.
I will try to backport this version to Lenny during the weekend. Would that be
a solution?
 Done, nothing happened. This is the process from ps -aux:

 model12641  0.1  0.9 199288 20432 pts/4S+   11:27   0:00
 /usr/bin/qtiplot

 The process does not die.
 I have tested qtiplot in my laptop acer with debian lenny amd64 (the
 same distro of my desktop pc)
 and it works fine.
 The two computer have very similar software, both with nvidia drivers.
Are you using the Debian package as well on your laptop?
Can you please do the following:
$strace qtiplot  qtiplot_strace_output.txt

and send me (personally) if you want to continue debugging this.

Bug#532749: talkd: not working if inetutils-inetd is used

2009-06-11 Thread shammash
Package: talkd
Version: 0.17-13
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Hi,
talkd doesn't work if inetutils-inetd is used as inet-superserver (which is
likely to happen because openbsd-inetd is no longer an 'essential' package and
inetutils-inetd is the first choice for inet-superserver virtual package).

inetutils-inetd uses ipv6 by default and doesn't support user.group syntax so
please consider either to change postinst script as in
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/250971 or depend explicitly on
openbsd-inetd.

Thank you,

2009-06-11 Thread Volker Groll
Package: bugzilla3
Version: 3.2.0.1-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

During postinst following message shows up:

Looks like we don't have an administrator set up yet.
Either this is your first time using Bugzilla, or your
administrator's privileges might have accidentally been deleted.

After that postinst hangs (can be stopped with ctrl-c)

 You've beaten me to it; I was about to follow up to myself to mention
 that. We've seen this using NIS on some machines, and again on newer
 ones where we're trying out LDAP too.

My guess is, that it's a problem related to NSS, because network is not yet up
when gdm is started. Could you try a small hack and add a sleep 30 to the
network-manager init script, after the daemon has started, in order to give it
some time to establish a network connection before gdm/X is started.

Sure, I can give that a try tomorrow when I'm back in the office. I'm
wondering how that might work, though: this is well before anybody
even attempts to log in, i.e. before gdm displays the login box. I
don't know if I made that clear before...

OK, that didn't help at all I'm afraid. After the delay, the system
continued on and hung in just the same way at gdm startup.

 Currently metacity is uninstallable due to the following postinst error:

 x-window-manager: it is a master alternative.

What is x-window-manager.1.gz pointing to? This was most likely caused
by a broken package providing the alternative.

Dpkg people: given the number of packages providing x-window-manager, I
guess it would be better to work around it in dpkg, wouldn’t it?

  This might be the result of using the Debian version of

The log2 function is defined in src/data.cc. The relevant part is

  if (args.length () == 1)
{
  if (nargout  2)
retval(0) = args(0).log2 ();

which ultimately dispatches to

  Complex
  xlog2 (const Complex x)
  {
  #if defined (M_LN2)
static double ln2 = M_LN2;
  #else
static double ln2 = log (2);
  #endif

return std::log (x) / ln2;
  }

So first, can you determine precisely where Octave is actually
hannging? Does the following program work, or does it also hang in
the same way?

  #include cmath
  #include complex
  #include iostream

  typedef std::complexdouble Complex;

  Complex
  xlog2 (const Complex x)
  {
  #if defined (M_LN2)
static double ln2 = M_LN2;
  #else
static double ln2 = log (2);
  #endif

return std::log (x) / ln2;
  }

  int
  main (void)
  {
std::complexdouble inf_i (0.0, 1.0/0.0);
std::cerr  inf_i  std::endl;
std::complexdouble result = xlog2 (inf_i);
std::cerr  result  std::endl;
return 0;
  }

I expect this program to print:

  (0,inf)
  (inf,2.26618)

but if it hangs, then I think the problem is in the C++ or C library
functions, not Octave.

Hmmm, how did you produce that error? The version of /usr/bin/gpsdrive I've
built is linked against mapnik 0.6 (that rather being the point of getting
the bug fixed in the first place ;-) but it's possible something is still
picking up a 0.5 dependency somewhere.

(and thinking about it the build-dep should probably also be bumped to
require libmapnik-dev = 0.6, to ensure that it gets upgraded in chroots if
already present).

What does ldd /usr/bin/gpsdrive | egrep mapnik give you?

Bug#526398: me too

2009-06-11 Thread Joey Hess
This is especially bad if one is using an ext2 filesystem with a SSD
drive. One of the failure modes that does not involve data loss is that
the kernel sees the filesystem is unclean and refuses to mount it
read-write, leaving the system fairly inexplicably broken for normal
users (ie, gdm can't log the user in). I observed that happening today.

This bug has been sitting idle for 2 months. I hope that you're not
waiting for someone to completly hose their system before fixing it.

thanks for your report.

Well, default gcc version in Debian is still 4.3, so the package
builds fine; hence I downgrade to imporant.

 Hi,

Indeed, we need to fix this: we have to pass a mode to open(). Patches
are welcome :)

 therefore planning on uploading an NMU to fix it in a couple of days'

 yourselves then that's obviously fine, but please say so. :-)

 i get a symbol lookup error currently. I try to look into this
 tonight, but feel free to NMU if you have a working solution :)

 gpsdrive: symbol lookup error:
 /usr/lib/mapnik/0.5/input/postgis.input: undefined symbol:
 _ZN5boost5mutex7do_lockEv

 Hmmm, how did you produce that error? The version of /usr/bin/gpsdrive
 I've built is linked against mapnik 0.6 (that rather being the point of
 getting the bug fixed in the first place ;-) but it's possible something
 is still picking up a 0.5 dependency somewhere.

 (and thinking about it the build-dep should probably also be bumped to
 require libmapnik-dev = 0.6, to ensure that it gets upgraded in chroots
 if already present).

I built the package with pbuilder and tried it in an up-to-date sid
chroot.

 What does ldd /usr/bin/gpsdrive | egrep mapnik give you?

$ ldd /usr/bin/gpsdrive |grep mapnik
libmapnik.so.0.6 = /usr/lib/libmapnik.so.0.6 (0xb748b000)

I still had libmapnik0.5 installed. If i deinstall it, gpsdrive runs
without error.

Just noticed there is /usr/lib/mapnik/0.5 hardcoded in
debian/patches/96-mapnik-plugins-dir.dpatch. I guess that's the problem.

Yep, sounds likely.

It sounds like you've got this under control? If so and you're likely to
upload a new version shortly then I'll ignore the NMU; a maintainer
upload is generally preferable and you should be able to test it more
usefully than I can :)

Did you compile the simpler program with the same options used to

Can you run Octave under gdb and find where it hangs, either by
running

  log2 (complex (0, inf))

and interrupting it when the hang happens and getting a stack trace,
or by stepping through the log2 function (and the functions it calls)
to find where it hangs?

   Hmmm, how did you produce that error? The version of /usr/bin/gpsdrive
   I've built is linked against mapnik 0.6 (that rather being the point of
   getting the bug fixed in the first place ;-) but it's possible something
   is still picking up a 0.5 dependency somewhere.

   (and thinking about it the build-dep should probably also be bumped to
   require libmapnik-dev = 0.6, to ensure that it gets upgraded in chroots
   if already present).

  I built the package with pbuilder and tried it in an up-to-date sid
  chroot.

 I meant more specifically. :-) I tried it on up-to-date sid as well, but
 I obviously didn't try the right thing, as I hadn't spotted the
 problem. :-/

Well, i started gpsdrive, got the symbol error and gpsdrive terminated.
You didn't had libmapnik0.6 *and* libmapnik0.5 installed when you tried
it presumably.

   What does ldd /usr/bin/gpsdrive | egrep mapnik give you?

  $ ldd /usr/bin/gpsdrive |grep mapnik
  libmapnik.so.0.6 = /usr/lib/libmapnik.so.0.6 (0xb748b000)

  I still had libmapnik0.5 installed. If i deinstall it, gpsdrive runs
  without error.

  Just noticed there is /usr/lib/mapnik/0.5 hardcoded in
  debian/patches/96-mapnik-plugins-dir.dpatch. I guess that's the problem.

 Yep, sounds likely.

 It sounds like you've got this under control? If so and you're likely to
 upload a new version shortly then I'll ignore the NMU; a maintainer
 upload is generally preferable and you should be able to test it more
 usefully than I can :)

Just uploaded the new version. Sorry for the delay, wasn't aware that
i'm blocking the mapnik transition :(

Andreas

Ah. Nope, you're right - I only had 0.6 installed, which is why I
didn't notice.

No worries; thanks for the upload. It wasn't a huge transition -
gpsdrive appears to be one of only three packages depending on mapnik -
but this does mean all four packages will now be able to transition to
squeeze, once gpsdrive is built everywhere and has been in unstable long
enough.

Thanks very much for the quick response.

Bug#531595: [tex-live] Supporting old releases: Using LaTeX after more than 5 years

2009-06-11 Thread Norbert Preining
Hi Karl, hi all,

together with Frank we have developped a patch for fmtutil that deals
with the following problem:

On So, 07 Jun 2009, Frank Küster wrote:
 Now if we look more closely, it turns out that LaTeX issues only a
 *warning* if you read the text. However, the lines are prepended with
 ! , and therefore are treated as errors by fmtutil. In other words,
 the LaTeX format can be built fine even after 5 years have passed. But
 fmtutil won't accept it as cleanly built.

The idea is that *if* a fmt file was generated and the string
'! '
(without ') are found at the beginning of a line then this was only a
*warning* and no error.

Currently fmtutil does in this case:
log_failure pdftex -ini ... possibly failed.
and log_failure triggers and return value of 0, which turns out as
error.

We have changed fmtutil by adding a new logging facility
log_warning
(all paralleling log_failure) that is used instead. Messages generated
from this will not change the exit value, but will be reported at the
end.

I attach the patch against current TeX Live's fmtutil in
Build/source/texk/tetex/fmtutil.

Please comment, esp. if you (I am having my Debian hat on) will accept
that patch into the upstream source.

Thanks a lot

Norbert

Bug#531569: Fixing LaTeX in oldstable

2009-06-11 Thread Frank Küster
Dear release managers,

I am right now uploading an again-installable tetex-bin to
oldstable-proposed-updates (I hope that's correct?), and texlive-bin
will follow soon. Both uploads have been built in etch pbuilder chroots,
and have been tested to fix the problem.

The changes are small, essentially only one patch file is added, and
except for the changelog one file in debian/ is changed, namely the
quilt series file (for tetex-bin) or the dpatch 00list file. The
patch is attached.

Do we need to do anything else (besides fixing stable and sid, but that
isn't urgent since the bug won't show up soon)?

Regards, Frank

Bug#532736: CVE-2009-1391: Buffer overflow in Compress::Raw::Zlib

  Compress::Raw::Zlib versions before 2.017 contain a buffer overflow in
  inflate(). A badly formed zlib-stream can trigger this buffer overflow and
  cause
  the perl process at least to hang or to crash.

  https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=CVE-2009-1391

 My preliminary understanding is that the minimal fix could be just this hunk:

 -Sv_Grow(output, SvLEN(output) + bufinc) ;
 +Sv_Grow(output, SvLEN(output) + bufinc +1) ;

 but I'm not quite sure if we also need the Only setup the stream output
 pointers if there is spare capacity in the outout SV part in

 http://search.cpan.org/diff?from=Compress-Raw-Zlib-2.015to=Compress-Raw-Zlib-2.017#Zlib.xs

It now seems to me that the latter part is only relevant with the
LIMIT_OUTPUT functionality first introduced in 2.015. So it shouldn't
be needed for the Lenny security updates.

(I've found no way to pass the function an output buffer for appending
 that's already full to the last byte on the C side. So there should
 always be enough room in the buffer at the initialization phase.)

I've verified that the minimal off-by-one fix above (attached for
convenience) removes the valgrind error in the original proof of concept
(available at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=346729).

The attached version of the patch applies against
libcompress-raw-zlib-perl/2.012-1 as is, and against
ext/Compress/Raw/Zlib/Zlib.xs in perl/5.10.0-19 with minimal fuzz.

The issue doesn't affect Etch AFAICS, as Compress-Raw-Zlib was only
introduced in the Perl core in the 5.9 development line, and the separate
libcompress-raw-zlib-perl package wasn't present in Etch.

Security team, I'd love to have some confirmation on all this. I'll make
my best to get the fix into sid in the weekend, hopefully Friday night.

@pkg-perl: if somebody wants to handle the separate package, be my
guest. I'll prioritize the perl package and will look at the other one
afterwards if necessary.

Cheers,

 Did you compile the simpler program with the same options used to
 build Octave?

Probably not.

 Can you run Octave under gdb and find where it hangs, either by
 running

   log2 (complex (0, inf))

 and interrupting it when the hang happens and getting a stack trace,
 or by stepping through the log2 function (and the functions it calls)
 to find where it hangs?

When I run it through ./run-octave -g, the command above does not hang,
but gives immediately this, even when I set a breakpoint at log2:

octave:1 log2 (complex (0, inf))

Program received signal SIGBUS, Bus error.

Bug#530000: [Pkg-utopia-maintainers] Bug#530000: upgrading dbus and hal at the same time can break hal's init script

2009-06-11 Thread Michael Biebl
severity 53 important

Michael Biebl wrote:
 Hi Rob,

 you you get me a sh -x output of the hal init script?
 If hal has already been started (by dbus), it shouldn't fail if it's started a
 second time (by the hal postinst script). So I can't reproduce your problem.

 About restarting only those services that are actually running:
 For that to work, all init script (which depend on dbus) would need to support
 the status action. I doubt this is the case bug will have to verify that.

As I can't reproduce the problem myself and the hal init script should already
handle being started multiple times and Rob didn't provide any further info, I'm
downgrading to severity important.

Cheers,
Michael

Building against testing works fine.

Is this a problem with the java-gcj-compat-dev package? It appears as
if it tries to run update-alternatives with some bad paths.

Maybe this problem should have higher severity, because others might see
similar problems too. It could be a problem in how the libidn package
depends on gcj, though, and suggestions on that is welcome.

 Package: dbus

 Dbus 1.2.14-2 failes to install due to start script segmentation fault,
 which makes it half-installed and unusable, hence severity grave.
 Relevant aptitude log as follow:

 ..
 Starting system message bus: dbus/etc/init.d/dbus: line 89: 20246
 Segmentation fault start-stop-daemon --start --quiet --pidfile --user
  --exec  -- --system

 Architecture: mipsel (mips64)
 I can confirm this problem on mips(el). It seems to be a toolchain issue on
 this
 architectures:
 1.) The 1.2.12-1 package from the archive works fine. If I recompile it with
 a
 current toolchain on sid, I the get same behaviour.
 2.) Compiling 1.2.14-2 with the lenny toolchain produces working binaries.

 I had a quick discussion with aurel on irc, which confirms that:

 [16:58] mbiebl aurel32: interesting fact is, if I recompile dbus 1.2.12-1

 [16:59] aurel32 but it looks like a toolchain bug yes
 [16:59] mbiebl aurel32: thanks
 [16:59] mbiebl please keep me posted

 The problem appears as dbus is creating dbus-daemon as a broken pie
 binary. Disabling -pie workaround the problem. I don't know yet what has
 introduced this regression though.

I'm cloning the bug for gcc, because this is (one of) the packages of the build
toolchain that was updated between the 1.2.12-1 and 1.2.14-2 build of dbus. The
last upload of binutils was before dbus 1.2.12-1, and this binary was still
working.

The following note in the build log [1] might be related:

dh_shlibdeps -pdbus
BFD: debian/dbus/usr/bin/dbus-daemon(.rel.dyn): relocation 164 has invalid
symbol index 0
BFD: debian/dbus/usr/bin/dbus-daemon(.rel.dyn): relocation 165 has invalid
symbol index 0
dh_installdeb -pdbus-x11

Cheers,
Michael

Bug#532822: wmweather: Linked with OpenSSL, seems to be a GPL violation

I didn't find any statement that all copyright holders of GPL'ed code
in wmweather have given extra permission to link with OpenSSL.

It might be enough to change the libcurl build dependency
to libcurl4-gnutls-dev.

I narrowed down the problem and it seems my guess with gcc was wrong. On an
up-to-date sid system and binutils from lenny, the resulting binary works
correctly.
Thus it seems to be a regression in binutils, so reassigning.

Bug#532841: qscintilla2: Fails to build from source

2009-06-11 Thread Gudjon I. Gudjonsson
Package: qscintilla2
Version: 2.3.2
Severity: serious
Justification: no longer builds from source

Hi
   Version 2.3.2 doesn't build from source and
the binary packages break the eric IDE. However
version 2.4 in experimental works perfectly so
if that version could be uploaded to unstable,
my problems would be solved.

Thanks
Gudjon
