Bug#723846: mail-notification: Does not find previously confiured account + strange error messages

This lead to two popup : 1) one saying An error kas occured while loading the mailboxes configuration (on line 3: unknown mailbox type imap) which I find quite strange!!! Could you send a screen capture of this dialog? The message means that it did find your configuration but it couldn't determine how to handle IMAP mailboxes, which is very strange indeed. If you don't mind, I'd like to see the contents of your ~/.gnome2/mail-notification/mailboxes.xml file too, with the usernames obscured (and anything else you don't feel comfortable sharing). 2) Opens the mailbox configuration dialog That's the normal behaviour when the configuration can't be determined. Your package eweouz declares a build dependency on one of these packages: evolution-data-server-dev libedataserver1.2-dev libcamel1.2-dev libebook1.2-dev libedataserverui-3.0-dev libedata-book1.2-dev libecal1.2-dev libedata-cal1.2-dev libebackend1.2-dev During a rebuild, eweouz failed to build against evolution-data-server 3.8. The build log can be found at [1]. One notable change is, that libedataserverui has been dropped. If your package build-depends on libedataserverui-3.0-dev, you'll need to get rid of that dependency. As for some of the other API changes, see the release announcements of evolution-data-server 3.5.3 [2]. If you want to test-build eweouz, version 3.8 of evolution-data-server is currently available in experimental. If you don't have the time porting to the new e-d-s interfaces, disabling e-d-s support (temporarily) might be an option. Otherwise eweouz will have to be removed from testing to not block the transition. Ubuntu and Fedora have already done this transition, so it might be worthwile having a look at the patches they ship. Thanks for your cooperation. Michael, on behalf of the Debian GNOME and Evolution team. forwarded 724905 http://code.google.com/p/bullet/issues/detail?id=741 tags 724905 upstream thanks Hello, I have forwarded your bug report upstream and asked the developers of Bullet for a license clarification. http://code.google.com/p/bullet/issues/detail?id=741 However the license header of ParticlesOCL.cl states that the file is licensed under the zlib license. So the NVIDIA paragraph could also be some kind of text leftover thus the actual information in debian/copyright was correct. I will wait for an official response and act accordingly. Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel Version: 2:2.21.15-1+b1 Severity: grave Justification: kills entire session; including applications running on it, which likely results in data loss. I can reliably crash the X server by starting almost any video with almost any player. At least mplayer, xine, totem, and xawtv (showing images from my webcam) have managed to crash it. Log file attached. If you need debugging symbols or anything like that, let me know how to generate it and I'm happy to send it. The only way I have currently found to play video without crashing X, is using mplayer -vo x11. I think that disables a lot of hardware acceleration, but I'm by no means an expert on this topic. Bug#724953: x11vnc: FTBFS on mipsel
package: x11vnc version: 0.9.13-1.1 severity: serious Hi, The NMU of x11vnc FTBFS on mipsel. This failure is reproducible on the porter box. https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=x11vncarch=mipselver=0.9.13-1.1stamp=1369421458 It seems something is pulling in libpng12-0, which doesn't happen other arches (checked mips and i386). This causes the build to link against libpng, which fails. Installing libpng-dev (or more precisely libpng12-dev), fixes the build. Bug#723619: cubemap: FTBFS on 32-bit Linux: off_t* vs. loff_t in call to sendfile
On Tue, Sep 17, 2013 at 07:22:50PM -0400, Aaron M. Ucko wrote: Source: cubemap Version: 1.0.0-1 Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source Strictly speaking, this isn't serious but important, right? The package hasn't built in i386 before. (I'd downgrade, but I'm not the maintainer.) Builds of cubemap on 32-bit Linux have been failing: server.cpp:436:72: error: cannot convert 'loff_t* {aka long long int*}' to 'off_t* {aka long int*}' for argument '3' to 'ssize_t sendfile(int, int, off_t*, size_t)' Please change offset's type to off_t per sendfile's actual prototype. Bug#724960: Incorrect quorum length with low number of notaries and/or low quorum percentage
Package: perspectives-extension Severity: grave Tags: upstream Control: fixed -1 4.3.6-1 Control: forwarded -1 https://github.com/danwent/Perspectives/issues/87 The current flaw (triggered by a non-default setup by the user) can make the browser basically trust any certificate. The risk to the user is, in the worst conditions, to believe they are exchanging data with a trusted organization, while in fact the certificate had been e.g. deactivated (and thus facilitate MITM-attacks). It does require a very unusual configuration, but with such a configuration completely undermines the security model perspectives attempts to provide. Bug#724962: [Pkg-xfce-devel] Bug#724962: xfce: xfwm, xfdesktop, xfsettingsd and most xfce apps don't work
Interesting. Have you got any logs you can attach or programs you've manually installed? It might be worth waiting a week or two to see if the upcoming xfce 4.11 uploads fix the On Mon, Sep 30, 2013 at 11:26 AM, Alejandro Carrazzoni ale.carrazz...@gmail.com wrote: Package: xfce4 Version: 4.10.1 Severity: critical File: xfce Justification: breaks the whole system I updated xfce4 along with several other packages yesterday, and after rebooting the pc hanged while trying to load gdm. I uninstalled gdm and installed slim instead and it worked, but xfwm4, xfsettingsd, xfdesktop and most xfce apps don't work (xfce panel and the task manager work, everything else doesn't). The pc is very slow and it turns out it's because there are 10 xfwm4, xfsettingsd and xfdesktop processes running, despite none of these programs running.
