Bug#734460: network-manager: Issues related to systemd when upgrading from 0.9.8.8-2
Package: network-manager Version: 0.9.8.8-2 Severity: serious Hi, I'm opening this bug so this is not getting lost. When upgrading from the previous versions the following events might occurs when the user is running systemd: 1) The package was not enabling the systemd unit in the previous versions. 2) NM was then started using the LSB script called network-manager. This means that the cgroup was called network-manager.service. 3) During the upgrade the systemd unit is properly enabled and the LSB script is masked by a symlink, this means that at some point during the upgrade, the canonical name changes from network-manager.service to NetworkManager.service 4) At the end of the upgrade, systemd looks for a NetworkManager.service cgroups which is not existing and then concludes that the service is not running at all. 5) Systemd tries to start the service, NM complains that there is an other instance of itself running = boom To fix this, I would propose to stop NM in the preinst script if we are upgrading from the previous versions and that the user is running systemd. I don't think this will happen often as the combination LSB script and unit name not matching and restart-after-upgrade is a common case. Bug#734172: similar to
I didn't say it was the same, just that is has some similarities. Both have GFS2 on top of active/active drbd and both break when there is some load in the GFS2 filesystem (my first crash a few weeks ago was with a rm -rf) I agree they affect different functions but they still have some things in common. Anyway, the important thing is that there was a comment on that redhat bug pointing to some GFS2 fixes. I looked into that and found that many GFS2 fixes were included in the latest RC kernel (3.13-rc7) so I compiled 3.13-rc7 and I'm running that kernel since yesterday and so far it did not crash. If it doesn't crash by tomorrow I'll try some activities that made it crash over the last few days (like taking a backup... using tar...) 3.13-rc7 includes these (among others): https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=0b3a2c9968d453d5827e635a6f3d69129f70af66 https://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=152b734a9e38aa2e9668fa072cf66625383ca865 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#734238: openjpeg: decoding of chroma-subsampled images
Antonin, As per: http://bugs.debian.org/734238#17 It seems the code in openjpeg assume that all components have at least the number of blocks of the first component, hence a patch has been applied as: http://patch-tracker.debian.org/patch/series/view/openjpeg/1.3+dfsg-4.7/segfault1.dpatch It breaks decoding of data/input/conformance/p0_06.j2k, as described at: http://bugs.debian.org/734238#5 Clearly p0_06.j2k is part of the requirement for J2K implementation. Bug#634930: gpa: GPA unusable due to General Assuan error
Hello! At first: I have Debian Wheezy (amd64) installed. And I have two users: one user (joo) cannot use gpa, but the other user (adjoo) have no problem! So I have tried to find the reason for this difference and I have found this: Found with set command as user joo: GPG_AGENT_INFO=/home/joo/.cache/keyring-wrhM5J/gpg:0:1 But found with set command as user adjoo: GPG_AGENT_INFO=/tmp/gpg-3z7tmb/S.gpg-agent:19715:1 Then I have tested in the terminal of joo other values with success: GPG_AGENT_INFO=/tmp/gpg-KEKPrV/S.gpg-agent:338:2 GPG_AGENT_INFO=/home/joo/.cache/keyring-wrhM5J/gpg GPG_AGENT_INFO=/home/joo/.cache/keyring-wrhM5J/gpg:0:2 All this values can be used for starting gpa successfully! Why gives the first value an error, but the other values not? Especially the last value seems to be interesting? Perhaps someone know the next step of analysis? --- Have a nice day. Bug#734279: jblas: FTBFS on most architectures since tests are enabled at build time

I wonder if jblas actually functional at all on those architectures before this upload anyway. I can run individual test for you if you. Just tell. Hi Roland, thanks for the offer. I'm currently using the s390x porter box, zelenka, which is at least enough to reproduce the test failure (and crash the JVM if I add the JNI .so to the LD_LIBRARY_PATH before running the upstream tests). I still wonder whether this package has ever been useful on non-i386/amd64 architectures. For the short-term, so the ruby transition can move forward, we could temporarily either disable to tests or constrain the architectures. Between those 2, I prefer the latter. Thoughts?
