The threadutil library is no longer shipped with upnp 1.8 since it's an implementation detail which has nothing to do with upnp itself. The current situation is that djmount is the last package that is using libupnp6. (Well, there is still linux-igd, but this is about to be removed -> #916643) djmount was already removed from testing. I wonder if we should also remove it from unstable given that there happened nothing to make djmount build with libupnp-1.8 for a year. Best regards Uwe signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Bug#916630: terminology: Remote execution via special escape codes that handle unknown media types
Package: terminology Version: 1.3.0-1 Severity: grave Tags: security upstream Justification: user security hole Owner: r...@kallisti.us Forwarded: https://phab.enlightenment.org/T7504 Terminology 1.3.1 has been released to fix a remote code execution vulnerability in special escape handling. This can be mitigated by unchecking Settings -> Enable special Terminology escape codes. I'm preparing a release. Details from upstream bug report: The \e}pn sequence allows a user to display media like an image or open a web page. However, all unknown media types are handled with the media_unknown_handle function which executes xdg-open against the file type. This creates a large attack surface that allows a remotely introduced executable file to be executed when that file's MIME type is registered for xdg-open. See the linked bug for full info. Ross

Bug#916614: mkdocs-bootswatch: Incompatible with mkdocs 0.17
Package: mkdocs-bootswatch Version: 0.4.0-3 Severity: grave Justification: renders the package unusable Dear maintainer, Trying to use mkdocs bootswatch themes with the latest version of mkdocs from testing (0.17.5) results in the following error: jinja2.exceptions.TemplateNotFound: main.html That is because only mkdocs-bootswatch 0.5 is compatible with mkdocs 0.17.x. Furthermore, I am going to upload mkdocs 1.0.4 soon, which will require one more mkdocs-bootswatch update, to version 1.0. Please either upgrade this package or request its removal. It has no reverse dependencies, so the latter should be possible. -- Dmitry Shachnev signature.asc Description: PGP signature

I kindly ask for your advice: Freeplane is due to be removed in 20 days, so I tend to wait for libservlet-api-java, also because the rule would be broken as soon as different version of javax.servlet-api enters Debian (right?). Will you also update r-deps (like libfop-java) and will it take less than 20 days? Many Thanks and Best Regards, -- Felix Natter debian/rules!

If a fix in another package is required, please file a bug for the other package (or clone), and add a block in this package. Please keep the issue open until the package can be built in a follow-up test rebuild. The package fails to build in a test rebuild on at least amd64 with gcc-7/g++-7, but succeeds to build with gcc-6/g++-6. The severity of this report may be raised before the buster release. There is no need to fix this issue in time for the stretch release. The full build log can be found at: http://people.debian.org/~doko/logs/gcc7-20170126/muse_2.1.2-3_unstable_gcc7.log The last lines of the build log are at the end of this report. To build with GCC 7, either set CC=gcc-7 CXX=g++-7 explicitly, or install the gcc, g++, gfortran, ... packages from experimental. apt-get -t=experimental install g++ Common build failures are new warnings resulting in build failures with -Werror turned on, or new/dropped symbols in Debian symbols files. Bug#916606: lbreakout2: randomly pauses ingame without external actions
Package: lbreakout2 Version: 2.6.5-1+b2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation? Starting a local game and play it for a while. At random times inside the game the pause screen appears and the game stops. This happens in window and full-screen mode. * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? * What was the outcome of this action? When the pause screen appears I press "p" and could continue the game. After some time (between milliseconds and seconds) the pause screen reappears, so I must repeat pressing "p" to unpause the game. This repeats until I end the game. * What outcome did you expect instead? The game doesn't pause randomly. Note: Only keyboard and mouse is connected as input device. So the pause-signal shouldn't come from another input device. Sidenote: On the source website http://lgames.sourceforge.net/LBreakout2/ you could read "This game is no longer maintained. Please play the remake LBreakoutHD instead.". So instead of solving this issue the related game "LBreakoutHD" could be packaged instead. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.18.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages lbreakout2 depends on: ii lbreakout2-data 2.6.5-1 ii libc62.28-2 ii libpng16-16 1.6.34-2 ii libsdl-mixer1.2 1.2.12-15 ii libsdl1.2debian 1.2.15+dfsg2-4 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.11.dfsg-1 lbreakout2 recommends no packages. lbreakout2 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information

Bug#916568: libbiojava4.0-java: depends on obsolete icedtea-netx-common
Control: reopen -1 On 2018-12-16 08:56, Andreas Tille wrote: > libbiojava4.0-java does not explicitly depend from icedtea-netx-common. The binary package depends on both icedtea-netx-common and icedtea-netx. > It is probably not instable due to the dependency from jmol which is > affected by #916571. Thus I'm closing this bug. If that dependency is gained from some B-D, and could be fixed by simply rebuilding, you still need a sourceful upload since this is an arch:all package. Andreas

No, it doesn't. clxclient actually needs to invoke pkg-config for Xft instead of handling Xft's dependencies. Cheers -- Sebastian Ramacher signature.asc Description: PGP signature

Bug#916586: sagemath: depends on specific libsingular4 which is no longer being built in unstable
Package: sagemath Version: 8.4-2 Severity: serious Hello, I don't know whether this is an easy issue to fix or not (I hope it's easy). sagemath currently depends on a very specific version of libsingular4, but the singular now in unstable only builds libsingular4m1; as far as I can tell, no source package in unstable now builds libsingular4. So sagemath will need to be updated to link to libsingular4m1, if that is possible. Thanks for all your work on this package! Best wishes, Julian
