Bug#1036646: libhyperscan5: prevents rspamd from starting

2023-05-24 Thread Sebastien Badia
severity -1 important
thanks

Hello,

Thank you Antoine for this bug report !

Indeed this issue is tracked upstream in #4409 (and merged in Rspamd 3.5).

I'm maybe wrong, but Bookworm will be released with libhyperscan5 = 5.4.0-2
(like bullseye).
So this bug (#1036646) is a RC for Trixie but not for Bookworm ?

Cheers,

Sebastien

Hello Jean Charles,

Thank you for this bug report !

Could you please post the full installation log ?

As mentioned by your reportbug log, libjs-jquery package is already a
dependency of rspamd.

Debian CI seems ok and piupart too
  - https://ci.debian.net/packages/r/rspamd/testing/amd64/
  - https://piuparts.debian.org/sid/source/r/rspamd.html

I can't reproduce your issue for the moment, your installation log will
help.

Thanks in advance !

Sebastien

Bug#893471: Missing dependency: puppet-module-nanliu-staging

2018-03-21 Thread Sebastien Badia

thanks

Hi Thomas,

nanliu-staging seems an un-maintained fork of the voxpupuli module

  https://github.com/nanliu/puppet-staging
  https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-staging

puppetlabs-mysql depends on the voxpupuli original module (puppet/staging), we
should maybe RoM the puppet-module-nanliu-staging package and introduce the
puppet-module-puppet-staging (https://forge.puppet.com/puppet/staging) one.

The only reverse dependency of puppet-module-nanliu-staging is
puppet-module-puppetlabs-rabbitmq
and upstream has dropped nanliu-staging for puppet/archive
https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-rabbitmq/blob/49f5e1fdc38cf10d92250f8a1c24ca9929df5f02/metadata.json#L66-L67
from voxpupuli too (https://forge.puppet.com/puppet/archive)

If it's okay for you, I'm preparing an ITP for
https://github.com/voxpupuli/puppet-staging

Let me kown…

Cheers,

Sebastien, for the Debian puppet-team

Hi Bastian,

Sorry for the delay, and thanks for this bug-report,

Just tested on a bar clean sandbox.

  root@1330b8e762bd:~# irb
  irb(main):001:0> require('rugged')
  => true
  irb(main):002:0> Rugged.features
  => [:threads, :ssh]

  # r10k.yaml
  git:
provider: 'rugged'

And indeed, r10k fails (with the non-default r10k provider 'rugged') with the
error, "Method unimplemented in libgcrypt"

According and quoting the upstream documentation:

https://github.com/puppetlabs/r10k/blob/master/doc/git/providers.mkd#supported-transports-with-rugged

« libssh2 on Debian and Ubuntu is compiled against libgcrypto instead of OpenSSL
due to licensing reasons, and unfortunately libgcrypto does not support a number
of required operations, including reading from a private key file. You will need
to either use shellgit or recompile your own libssh2-1 package to use OpenSSL on
these distributions. »

'licensing reasons' are tracked in the bug https://bugs.debian.org/668271

We take a look to change r10k hard-deps on rugged.

Thanks

Sebastien

Argh! Indeed…

Quoting the manpage: “If the conffile has not been shipped for several
versions, and you are now modifying the maintainer scripts to clean up
the obsolete file, prior-version should be based on the version of the
package that you are now preparing, not the first version of the
package that lacked the conffile.”

Just fixed (yes really, in the prepared 2.4.2+dfsg-1 version), thanks Jakub!

Just tested, and it's work fine, now…

# Setting up taskwarrior (2.4.2+dfsg-1) ...
# Installing new version of config file /etc/bash_completion.d/task ...
# Removing obsolete conffile /etc/bash_completion.d/task.sh ...

Thanks again!

Bug#774044: Rake task incompatible with ruby-gettext 3.x

2015-04-09 Thread Sebastien Badia

Hi Jan-Marek,

Thanks for the bug report and the patch attached!
Unfortunately, we were too slow on the treatment of this bug, so a new version
of ruby-gettext-i18n-rails was now released.

I just imported the new 1.2.3 version
https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-ruby-extras/ruby-gettext-i18n-rails.git/commit/?id=a52cd4330f64399bf93d239e3eeac9e58a383b2a

Thanks!

Bug#779993: DFSG violation, Not including changelog of 2.4.1-1

task 2.4.1+dfsg-2 (and I believe 2.4.1+dfsg-1, but that I have not
checked) violates dfsg by not including changelog entry for version
2.4.1-1 that was released before.

Hi Klaus,

taskwarrior 2.4.1-1 was accidentally uploaded in unstable.
You can see the original changelog on mentors.d.n using this dsc
http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/t/task/task_2.4.1-1.dsc

Bug#613184: Update hwinfo package (RE: Please stop using HAL)

 Hi William,

hwinfo package has RC bug (#613184) due to dependency to HAL.
It was solved in upstream and tagged as 20.1 as newest release
in their git repository. See https://gitorious.org/opensuse/hwinfo

I've prepared new upstream version package for hwinfo as attached
diff (including some fixes and updates). Please consider to update
your package, or to allow me to do it with NMU.

  Thanks!

Hi Hideki,

William doesn't respond anymore, and hwinfo is an ITA package.

Oh heck!!

Thank you very much for your work Hideki, but… this was already done in
collab-maint¹.

Sorry about that :-/ (I've completely missed the pending tag… sorry.)

We have just an (resolved) issue with all architectures (with libx86emu)².

And just for the record, gitorious upstream is not maintained anymore, Steffen
is using now github.

  * http://github.com/wfeldt/libx86emu

I think Johann already wanted to sponsor this upload, but otherwise I'd be happy
that it's you.

Cheers,
