Comment (by benmuell):

Thanks for the report and sorry for the problems! This and a few other
issues are fixed now on our release branch and we will try to publish a
 bugfix release 3.0r1 tomorrow.

We have some improvements for our jenkins setup planned to catch such
issues earlier, this will include several more distributions and variants,
 including i386.

 Dear Polymake Team;

I've just filed a serious bug on Debian's bug tracker.
This is probably a priority to fix for you as well as it will effect
 Ubuntu/i386

Comment (by benmuell):

We have fixed the issue in our master and release/2.14 branch, since the
next bugfix release for 2.14 will take some time I will upload a patch
that should apply to 2.14r1 in a minute.

Using the packaged libnormaliz is currently not feasible for us as we use
the templated libnormaliz ({{{#include libnormaliz-all.cpp}}}) with our
own number type to avoid conversions.

 build fails with

error: call of overloaded 'gcd(mpz_class&, mpz_class&)' is ambiguous

 See

 https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=807368

 for a more detailed log.

On a related note, I see libnormaliz is included in Debian now.
